What's up Billy? They for joining in and so let's come in here. I'll start sharing my screen All right, cool guys. So here we are on My Facebook profile right here, and what we're going to do is Basically you know when you have your Facebook page you have Followers you have likes right so you can go through build it up. The five hundred a thousand likes or whatever it might be But you can also maximize your personal profile To get people like exposed to more of your content because like here's deal if you have a thousand followers on your Facebook business page if you post something What happens is Facebook actually only shows that about six to eight percent of the people? [Alright], so like you know you post them to a thousand people you're only getting about 60 people They're going to [actually] see it right and obviously if they like or comment on it or share it you're going to get more exposure But in order to get more exposure on top of that You actually have to go through spend some money boost that post and go do some other things there Whereas your personal profile Because Facebook sees that is like you know your warm audience your community you're probably not going to be promoting business stuff They allow you it shows well a lot more people and the whole idea of this is Stay top of mind and being in People's news feeds Okay so what we're going to do is I'm just going to come over here to you actually my personal profile and Looks like Monica's on Monica Welcome glad to see you here Okay, so here's my personal profile.
Let's just make this Make this big full screen right there okay? So now you can see you know I used like this is just a personal preference But I use my same picture that I use in on my business page And the same name will obviously I just use Jason wardrop some people put Jason wardrop realtor or something else but I just like to have that consistent so like if they're seeing me in the news feed whether it's my business page or my personal Profile it just kind of looks the same right and this is me I? Proposed to my wife out a year ago. So anyway guys let's um In order to do this what we're going to do is Facebook has something that they call list okay? So you can create [different] friends list and so when you post you can see down here ice it has right here? I'm posting to just my business category where I can choose by default I think it's just on public or you could only post your friends or friends Except if you want to like exclude somebody or you could post something if you only wanted to show it to yourself our Specific friend like you have all this different stuff. So what I did is I created this list called business right here, okay? So I'm going to show you guys how to go through and create that and then how [we] can go through and add people that list so now when we go post list so you get a new listing or You want to go through maybe do a Facebook live to your personal profile as well. You could just post it to your business Friend, and so you're not annoying your friends and family who like okay? We get it your realtor.
You're in real estate You're trying to sell stuff. You know so anyway what we're going to do for that and I'm sure there's some other ways and if you guys if you google you probably find some other ways this is the way I found To do it. We're going to do is click on friends right here, and then Like pretty much this is the easy way to do it. You've got your list of friends right here Let's say I hover over this you see how it says friends.
I want to say Add to another list [okay]? So we're going to click on add to another list of us scroll down and so we've got all of our existing lists We've got good friends Brigham. Young university high not like my different high schools I went to you know or we can create a new list ok so this we're just going to say This is a test. I'm just going to hit enter and so I can have her as a business and my business list my test list and or we can you know create you know this could be like potential buyers or potential sellers or You know whatever you might want to go through and do okay, so because it's like their potential buyers You've got a new listing or you got something new you can post that on there and they're the only ones they're going to actually see that okay, so Let me just move this really quick, okay? So one other thing so that's that's how you go through and create the list ok now another like kind of Ninja Trick that I use when new people add me and I don't know about you [guys] but like I get new people out of me all the time and Times, I don't know who they are and so I'm just like well They're probably following me because you know they saw something. I did on real estate and so they're wanting to go through and see what what [I'm] doing ok, so, I'll add them to my business list right, so It's zach actually we came up with this the other day or [I]? Decided to shoot this video based on our my Conversation with zach the other day and he went through and he added me as a friend, so let me just show you How I do this whole process ok so once I've created that list so I've got zach right here So we've got three mutual friend says I'm going to click on his name and you can click confirm friend right there But I'm going to go through and click confirm request ok and this is nice because like if you don't know somebody and obviously I know zach and so like it's cool and all that stuff but if you don't know somebody But you still want that free exposure you still want to be able to get out in front of more people? This is awesome Ok so now when I come over here to this friends list right here I can hover over that and I go down to add to another list ok now for zach I'm going to add them to my business.
Just because like on my business. I'm always posting different real estate lead Generation strategies and stuff So I'll probably be posting this video in particular Or I could add them to you my test list Which I'm just going to check that cuz I don't like I'm just gonna delete that after this anyway So I go through and add them to this and then if you guys wanted to which I'm not going to do necessary was that because like I actually know him But if you have no idea who the person is and I don't about you guys but I give this a lot where I have no idea who the person is by I'll click in their profile and Lots of times on their intro it says like you know realtor at landmark properties or realtor at you know such as such So all this come over here as your wrist is following You could say see first like if you there a really good friend of yours You can say I want to see all their post first So you know if [you] guys want to see my post first? Just go over hover that and say see first which you know obviously I'd love that, but I get if you don't do that So anyways by default is just like you know it'll show from time to time But based kind of like on how much you interact with that person? But if you have no idea who this person is you can come down here and just click unfollow zach, okay, and Let me see okay, so yeah, so unfollowed. So now if we wanted to reef all back. We can refile them.
Which I'm Gonna I'm gonna actually refold that because I actually know him which is awesome So anyway guys that is and I see Monica. Just like my my business page, which is awesome So anyway guys that that's kind of how we go through and do this ok So now from here on out if I come over to my personal profile. I say you know You know post message Example you know or you could add a video Image it's literally the same thing and now we come down here and we can just choose ok I want to post a business or just want to post to the test and You can go through and select these dif Different lists the post [sue] so you can kind of view this as an email list, right? But instead of you know going through and emailing the person you know it's just a different form of exposure which is great because you know if you're And I have this in one of my training videos where like you know that the digital Arena is so nice because like if you think about typical business They're trying to go through and get in front of you on TV. Let me just exit out this really quick and stop sharing because I think we've gone through enough of that Ok so anyway guys if you think about typical business They're trying to go [through] and advertise to you on TV.
Ok and then they're going through and advertising to you on billboards and magazines And they're selling sending you direct mail And they're in doing emails like they're trying to hate you in all these different areas Ok so if you want to act like a fortune 500 company You want to be hitting these people in all these different areas as well So like you know when you generate a lead you get their email address Ok so you're going through and you're hitting them with with emails and saying like hey Here's like this new home that I have to offer you Ok the number one thing with real estate is you want to get them on the phone? Ok you want to get them on the phone? That's just another point of contact there ok and then after you them on the phone you want to go through and get them into an In-person live meeting because you then you can go build a relationship [to] really see what they want and what they want and what they're looking for so you can help them find it Then another point of contact Facebook right could be your Facebook page And now it can be your Facebook personal profile And so you've got all these different points of contact okay? And the thing that I have learned is that You know you could have people following you on Facebook, and they could also be on your email list but they're not checking Facebook every single day okay, so If you have a message that you want to get out in front of people you want to be sending them an email You want to be posting on your personal profile and even you know specific to this list you want to be posting on your business? Page if you have a Facebook group you want to be posting on there So you want to be able to have all these different touch points? The nice thing is with technology these days. It makes it very easy to go you know not only have all these touch points But hit hundreds or even thousands of people on all these different touch points all right so anyway guys I hopefully I hope that was helpful on if you guys thought that was helpful or not helpful like whichever way I'm all about positive Criticism here.
