How to Use Facebook for Recruiting in Network Marketing - Social Media Strategies

How to Use Facebook for Recruiting in Network Marketing - Social Media Strategies

Hey my name is Drew Berman from DrewBerman.Com,
and I help network marketers go from hobby income to professional income. You want to
know how to recruit more, and more efficiently, on Facebook for your marketing business? Come
right back and I'm going to give you a couple strategies that will help you. Hi my name is Drew Berman, welcome back, I
am the author of You Online, You Offline: How to Make a Fortune in Network Marketing.
I teach people online, and offline, strategies. Today we're going to talk about Facebook,
the Facebook, that's what it was originally called.

Here's a couple tips that will help
you with your network marketing company, and with your MLM, and your home based business.
How to recruit more reps on Facebook. One, change your profile picture to something
professional. If you can't get a professional headshot, at least take a still photo, with
your iPhone or something. It's just you, no drinks, no people, no babies, certainly no
company logo, and just make your Facebook profile professional.

The profile is the one
with the picture. Then there's the big picture, I think that's your homepage. Make sure that's
something that's an alignment with the message and your brand. Maybe it's a landscape, maybe
it's a famous quote, maybe it's a lifestyle picture.

Once you have your picture set up,
your profile and your landscape, I'm going to recommend changing it every once in a while.
When you change it, what happens is it shows up on your wall, and in other people's newsfeed.
If you change it properly, so you upgrade it. Let's say you upgrade it every 3 to 6
months, oftentimes what is going to happen is people are going to like your picture. That's going to create activity, that's going
to create movement, and if you do it properly, if you upgrade to a better picture or ... For
me, I like landscapes, so I would go from a ...

Like I was in a contest to win that
trip to the French Riviera, so I had the French Riviera on there. Then I change it to a beach
profile. When you change it to something cool, people are going to react, and that will stir
the pot a little bit. Second strategy, when you get likes and comments.
Now, how often do you get likes and comments? If you're not getting them often enough try
Google.

Google best Facebook quotes for 2000 ... " Whatever year, or the year before, or
the year before. Funniest Facebook quotes for 2011, 2009, 2013, and you're going to
get a ton of stuff, okay? That's how you'll get more interaction. Post stuff not about
your business.

If you have to post about your business follow this formula, 10/4/1. That
means for every 10 posts, something inspirational, motivational, funny, uplifting, people don't
come to Facebook to buy. They come to connect, they come to see what their friends are doing.
Ten should be nothing about business at all. Four could be subtle about business, maybe
lifestyle, or the benefits of your business.

Maybe 1 can be a call to action to your business.
That's strategy number 2. Strategy number 3, when you get likes and
comments. This is like leads falling into your lap. Figure out a way to get more likes
and comments.

Facebook loves baby pictures, loves pets, specifically cats and horses,
not sure why, and uplifting, and humor. As you start to get likes and comments here's
your door to open up relationships. Prospecting and recruiting is no different on Facebook
than it is one to one. We're not about sell, sell, sell, we're not about buy my product
because you need it.

You wouldn't do that at a party, don't do it on Facebook. What
you can do is you can send everyone a PM, private message, that says, "Thanks for liking
my post." You can use this exact sentence, "Thanks for liking my post. What are you up
to? Thanks for commenting on my picture, what's new and good with you?" This is going to open
up dialogue and discussion. There are some concepts on how to recruit
more on Facebook.

One, have a professional picture, and professional landscape. Two,
change it, upgrade it every 3 to 6 months. Three, follow the 10/4/1 formula around business.
Ten inspirational, motivational, happy, fun, tips, content, teach. Four, subtle references
to the benefits of your product or service.

Not the features, the benefits, because everyone
listens to the same radio station. It's WIIFM, what's in it for me? When you start the 4
posts, it should be like, "My product does this, my product does this, you should buy
it." It should be like, "Check out this success story because they were using this type of
system." No mention of name, no mention of product. Oftentimes you can do maybe a before
and after picture, or you can do a success story, or you can reference the type of product,
or service, that created a benefit. Once, mention a call to action.

Those are a couple Facebook tips to help you
recruit more reps on Facebook. Now, when someone likes or comments on one of your posts it's
kind of like giving a virtual high five. A. Way to give a virtual high five back, like
some of their posts.

Comment on their posts, and then create a dialogue. Then through questions
you're going to learn how to recruit more. What's new? What are you up to? What do you
do professionally? What do you like about it? What don't you like about it? What would
you change? Just a shot in the dark are you open to other opportunities? See there's a
little 8 question segway into going from contact and contact and relationship, to opening the
door. You follow these subtle tips you will recruit more reps on Facebook.

I'm going to give you 1 last strategy. This
one is a dozy. It's called the birthday strategy. It happens every single day of the year.

Everyday
of the year you get a note, from Facebook, on whose birthday it is. Everyone on the planet
leaves them a birthday message on their wall. That's one level. The next level is, send
them a PM.

The next level is send them an email. The advanced level, text them or call
them on their birthday. On your birthday you're going to get a ton of messages on your wall,
so you just like and comment, and say, "Thanks for the birthday wishes, what are you up to?"
Start the dialogue. We can go into a whole Facebook training.

How to Integrate Facebook Lead Ads with Marketing Automation

How to Integrate Facebook Lead Ads with Marketing Automation

Image source: https://c1.sfdcstatic.com/content/dam/blogs/us/thumbnails/advertising-studio-from-salesforce-now-with-direct-lead-automation-from-facebook-to-sales-cloud/facebookcrmads.png

Hello everyone, welcome to another episode of Nick's Ad Chat. We are talking all things PPC. Last episode, I was showing you guys a little bit about how Facebook lead ads worked and how to set up your very first lead ad campaign. So today, I'm going to show you what you can actually do when you start actually getting those leads in and how to integrate it with HubSpot.

So let's hop onto business manager and take a look at how everything works. So self-explanatory, once they fill out that lead or once they fill out your lead ad form, where does their information go? First off, everything is stored on Facebook, so once you go to your campaign that you just created, this is the one that we made. And once people do start filling out your form, an option is going to appear here. I'll show you one of the other ones that we've done.

An option is going to appear right there. Once you go into the individual ads where you can download your leads. So you click that, select the date range and you can download them. It just pulls a nice quick CSV file right onto your computer.

Now like I mentioned, this is a very manual process if you want things to be automated you have to set up something external to make sure that once that lead ad form is filled out. They are sent that automated email. Obviously, it's not ideal if you're pulling this information every time someone fills out your form. So to do that, I've chosen to set up an integration between HubSpot, which is where we do most of our automation.

If you're using HubSpot, this will be very useful. If not, I think it'll still be very useful to show you the process that you can go through to set it up, so the first thing you have to do if you're using HubSpot is go into your portal and create a list, a static list. I've already created it here. Don't give it any criteria.

Make sure it's not a smart list. It's just a empty list and you can call it whatever you want. I'm calling it a test lead ad list and just let it sit there. And then you're gonna go into zapier.

Zapier is just one option of integration software, I think it's very useful is I think they have over 200 connected programs that you can use. If you want to set it up the way that I'm setting it up now, you are gonna have to pay for it. We managed to get in our RCM managed to get in before they started charging for their plans since we're going to be setting up two-step integration. You do have to pay for it if you're just setting up the one, then you only need the free version.

But I'm going to show you how I set it up and you can do whatever you like with it. So the first thing we're going to do is we're gonna hit make this up. So first thing we're gonna select is Facebook lead ads. Click that.

This is our trigger so once somebody fills out that lead ad form, save and continue. I've already connected my Facebook account if you want to connect another one, all you have to do is click that link there, and it'll open up a little box where you can sign it and connect your Facebook account. So save and continue. Move on.

This is where you select your page, so we're going to select Campaign Creators Facebook page and then also the form. So you scroll down, you find the form that you're working with, we're selecting that form that we just created the test lead ad form. Select that. Move on, and now what it's going to do is just to make sure it's really really useful, just to make sure that everything is working fine, what zapier does it creates a test contact.

Contact and puts it through your process to make sure it's going through the Zap properly, so we're gonna do that, it creates just a test contact or test lead and it tests it going through the steps, okay? Continue, then we set up our actions so once that trigger happens, what's the next step that you want Zapier to do, so we select HubSpot obviously and a lot of people do this, they go straight to add a contact to List. I was doing this at first and I was seeing that it just wasn't working out, and I couldn't understand why so I got in contact with Zapier, and they explained to me that it can't add the contact to the list unless that contact is already created, so this is where you need those two steps. So first you're gonna have to create the contact, select that one you select your HubSpot account so if you want to connect to the account open that up, fill in your Hub ID which can be found at the top, Hub ID you can find it right up here in the top right corner. Fill that out, and then you're connected to your HubSpot account, so we're gonna select Campaign Creators it's already been connected.

Connect that, this is where you can fill out all of the different fields. Before your new contact that you're creating since our form is only asking for an email, That's the only one that we need to update. So click this here select the email, for your new lead, and you don't have to worry about any of this other stuff. You have tons of fields in there.

You don't have to worry about any of that. Move on to the next and once again is gonna try to test. So test is successful now, If that's all you want to do if you just want to create a contact in facebook or in HubSpot, Then you're good to go. This app is ready to start rolling.

However in our case we want to set up that automated workflow to trigger once that That specific type of contact is imported, so we're gonna add another step. So we're gonna click this. Plus icon here, select a Hubspot and here we're going to select add contact to list. So once again selecting our HubSpot account, going through this is where we find our list name that one that we just created Test lead ad list, that static list with nobody in it.

And then we're going to once again select that test lead that we started out with at the beginning. So continue, once again, it's going to test make sure everything's working test successful looks good and We're done. Give it a name test lead ad zap. Boom! Good to go turn it on and now once you start running your ads, then people start filling out your form, they're gonna be immediately entered into HubSpot they're gonna create a contact and HubSpot And they're going to be added to that list So one way to check that the whole if you still don't trust Zapier one way to test and see if that whole process worked.

Open up HubSpot, Go into your lists, go into that list you just created and you're gonna see that test contact there. So Hope that gave you guys a little bit of an explanation about how you can leverage lead ads to improve your lead generation techniques. Obviously, it's not a one size fits all but you're going to have some industries where sending people to a landing page is going to perform better, but like I said, the last couple of campaigns that we've run the lead ads, the cost per acquisition for a lead has been a lot lower so Get out there and test it let me know how you get on Obviously something you can try out if your regular campaign is working, too well, and you want to you know test something new And see if you can lower that cost per lead but Anyways, thank you for tuning in to another episode of Nicks ad chat, and I will see you guys next time.  .

How to Increase Your Facebook Reach and Outsmart the Algorithm

How to Increase Your Facebook Reach and Outsmart the Algorithm

Organic reach for Facebook Business Pages is plummeting. In fact, some people say by more than 50%. So, how do you make sure that the content you share on Facebook is actually seen? There are thousands of factors that determine how the News Feed ranks content, but overall, Facebooks goal has always been the same: Connect people to the stories they want to be connected to. That means prioritizing posts from family,
friends, and news organizations over content from brands.

To claim your spot on the News Feed among the 60 million other businesses marketing on Facebook, you have to understand two things: one, how the News Feed ranks content, and two, where Facebook is heading as a business, not simply a social network. When Facebook ranks content, really, its looking at four things: who posted it, how people engaged with it, what kind of post
it is, and when it was posted. The more engagement a post gets, the more it -- and your future posts -- are seen in the News Feed. Remember, less is more.

For brands, reach actually drops with each additional post, especially if you post more than three times a day. Be selective about what you post and how often. Youve also got to avoid clickbait. Facebook tracks the amount of time people spend reading an article and watching a video and decreases its visibility if people immediately bounce from it or scroll past.

Facebook is looking more and more like a video platform every day and the algorithm reflects that. The News Feed prioritizes Facebook Lives in real time, and now notes how long people watch pre-produced videos, giving long videos with high completion rates an extra boost. But more than anything else, youve got to know your audience. The News Feed is smart enough to know the type of posts people want to see.

To increase those engagement rates, try using Preferred Audience Tracking to optimize who sees your content. Jump up to Settings and make sure Audience Optimization for Posts is turned on. The next time you post, just click on the
tiny target and choose interests relevant to your content. If your organic reach is dropping, dont be surprised.

Instead, know your audience and post quality content they want to engage with. Definitely consider promoting posts with ad spend, but know there are ways to make the algorithm work for you and your business..

How to Increase Your Facebook Ad CTR and Pay WAY Less Per Click

How to Increase

You're doing Facebook advertising. You're paying an arm and a leg. Why? Because no one's clicking on your ads. Hi, everyone.

I'm Neil Patel, and today I'm going to teach
you how to improve your Facebook ad click thru rate. There's two options that you have when you're
buying Facebook ads. It's either you pay per impression or you
pay per click. Most people like paying per click because
why would you want to pay when people aren't coming to your website? But, there's an issue.

If you're not getting enough clicks, paying
per click through is very expensive. Generally speaking, I found it to be cheaper
to pay per impression, and then you, yourself optimize for click thru rate. The way you optimize it is one: you focus
on having a really amazing image that pops out. If your image just blends in with Facebook,
no one's going to see it or click on it.

So, have a bright image that stands out. If you don't want to do a bright image, I
found that using images that blend in with Facebook's color scheme also generate a lot
of clicks because then they don't look like ads. The second thing you want to do is optimize
your text. If your text doesn't have emotion or shocking
value, less people are going to click through.

For example, let's say you're a casino. I don't know why I'm going to give this example,
but it's just standing out in my mind. And let's say you're competing against Double
Down Casino. If your ad copy was, "So-And-So Quit Double
Down Casino and What Happened Next Will SHOCK.

YOU!", You're curious. You may click through. Or, for example, if your ad copy is, "7 Benefits
of Green Tea. #6 Will Amaze You!", I'll be like, "I want to know the amazing benefits
of green tea.

What's number six? Why is it gonna amaze me?" If you optimize your images and your text,
you're gonna get more clicks. Last but not least, what you want to do is
keep rotating up who you're advertising to. When you're picking your audiences within
Facebook, it allows you to target. If it's really small and you keep showing
the same person ads over and over and over and over again, it's ad fatigue.

They're not going to keep clicking on it,
which means you either have to rotate up your ad images on a regular basis or you're gonna
have to pick new people to advertise to. As long as you follow those steps, you're
gonna get better click thru rate. Make sure you pick the option in Facebook
where you're paying per impression, and your cost for Facebook ads will go down..

How To Create A Landing Page In WordPress For Facebook Marketing

How To Create A Landing Page In WordPress For Facebook Marketing

In this video, you are going to see how easy it is to create a custom landing page on WordPress by using Elrementor, an amazing drag and drop page builder plugin in combination with the free version of Hestia WordPress theme. Hi, everyone! Robert here from ThemeIsle.Com. You may have long been looking for solutions
to create completely customizable pages into your WordPress website for a marketing campaign,
a landing page for example, but you've always struck a lack of options. I have good news for you.

Since the Elementor WordPress plugin is on
the market I completely forgot about those problems and I actually use it to build unique
landing pages on my own. This page, for example, is created with Elementor
and I will show you how to do that in the next minutes so keep watching. The best part is that you can start using
it for free and if you are satisfied with the custom capabilities of the free version,
you can use it free forever. So, with that in mind let's see how to create
a Landing Page for your Facebook Marketing Campaign.

We all know how important is marketing in
your business and Facebook should be one of your main options. Before moving on, you need to install and
activate the Elementor WordPress plugin. For more functionalities, you are free to
install some related plugins which will extend the capabilities of your page builder. By the way, if you want to install the free
Hestia WordPress theme as well, which I use in this tutorial, search for it in the WordPress
repository.

Ready to continue? Let's go! Creating your first landing page with Elementor
it's easy! Head to Pages/Add New, set a title and then
a permalink for your page. According to the latest on page SEO tactics,
the permalink of your page must be as short as possible with the target keyword inside,
the product name for example. Next step should be to select a page template
from the drop-down menu. There are four different templates you can
use, other than the default one.

The Page Builder Blank and Page Builder Full
Width are optimized pages created within the Hestia theme especially for the purpose of
using them with page builders like Elementor or Beaver. Choosing the Page Builder Blank all of your
theme elements like header and footer will be removed and you can build a clean landing
page for your marketing strategy. If you want to keep the header and footer
for easy navigation and informative purpose, then choose Page Builder Full Width. To keep changes click Save before moving on.

Next step is to click the "Edit with Elementor"
button in the editor, and then you will be redirected to the Elementor editor interface. Now, you can start building a page from scratch
but because there are a lot of options, the easy and faster way to create a landing page
is by choosing a ready made template. Some of them are free to use but for more options and premium elements you need to go pro. Let's say you have the highest quality lens
in the World of photography and you need a landing page to promote your product on Facebook.

Select the Landing Page Product Type in the
pre-designed templates by clicking on the green INSERT button while hovering over. You should be able to edit the template right
after the loading occurs. Don't worry about the content within, you
can change absolutely everything and I will show you how to do that immediately so keep
watching. Next, I recommend you keep the landing page
as simple as possible with a strong message and a call to action.

This way you can gain more conversions and
your marketing efforts will be successful. Actually, the best way to grow your business
using Facebook Advertising is to give them something in exchange for their email address
and this should be the first element into your landing page. There are lots of email marketing services
out there but I am gonna show you how to use MailChimp. You can go to create a free account and then
a subscriber list.

The easy way to start getting emails is a
simple form you can create right here... Then copy the code and paste it into a text field
on your landing page. If there are no text fields like in my situation,
drag one in the preferred area of your landing page and paste the HTML code into the text
tab of your editor. Instead of a simple text, you can insert video
content as well and I will show you how to do that right now.

Go back to elements and drag a video widget
to your landing page... Then head to settings to change it according to your preferences. Here, you can change the Element Style.....
The Background, Border, Responsive Settings like hiding the element on tablet and mobiles
and if you opt for the pro version of Elementor you can do custom CSS here. Allow me to show you another thing that I
think it can help you design a better page, is actually one of my favorite design elements
so far.

Hover your mouse over any section then click
like you wish to move it around and then you'll see the Edit Section options active in the
left sidebar. Click on style and open the Shape Divider
options tab. Here, you can toggle through the top and bottom
dividers, then you can choose the type of a specific divider you wanna use from the
drop-down menu. Hestia has a beautiful front page with multiple
sections and I encourage you to get the pro version because that version will give you
the way to insert any of those section into your landing page.

Here is how you can do just that... All you need to do after finishing your landing
page elements and content is to Publish it, and then just use it for your Facebook Marketing
Campaign or simply share it with the world online. There are myriad of options you can use with
Elementor to create stunning content into your WordPress site, and I will do my best
to create more videos about this subject in the near future. Although I have many ideas to continue on
the same subject, I will stop now to let you test my recommendations so far.

If you have any questions about Hestia, Elementor
or related subjects, please let me know about that in comments below. I also encourage you to subscribe then tap
the bell to get notifications every time we publish a new video. In this way, you can be the first to see the
latest WordPress videos on our channel. Thanks for watching!.

How To Create a Facebook Page For Your Business (Timeline Facebook Profile)

How To Create a Facebook Page For Your Business (Timeline Facebook Profile)

Hi, it's Brandon from SoldWithVideo.Com and
I want to show you how to make a professional looking Facebook profile. Hey everybody. Welcome
to my tutorial on how to setup a professional looking Facebook profile. If you're new to
Facebook or you don't yet have a profile setup, this is a great guide that will go step by
step and show you exactly how to do it.

If you don't have a profile setup yet you can
go ahead and signup for one for free through Facebook and it's a great way for you to be
able to gain more customers and interact with the customers and clients that you do have
and really build a social relationship with them. You can even share information, you
can announce sales, offer specials, and if you decide to do any Facebook advertising,
Facebook will even let you advertise at a cheaper price if you're linking the ad to
your Facebook profile. So there are a lot of benefits to being able
to setup a business profile on Facebook. So let's just get right into it.

Step one is
setting up the cover page. The cover page is probably the most important part of your
Facebook profile. It's the horizontal image that you see at the top of the profile and
this area is where visitors' eyes will first be drawn to. You want something that's going
to represent your brand and your company and this can be a nice picture of your products,
picture of your company building or even you as the business owner.

The one thing you want
to remember is that people will be seeing this and be thinking of your brand so you
want to choose something that will best represent your brand and your company. If you don't have any pictures to use, you
can always hire a photographer to come out and take a few. You can do it yourself with
a nice digital camera. Or you can just leave the space kind of blank, maybe a gradient
or just a nice colored background with your company colors.

As you can see ours here we
decided to go ahead and use a couple of our products with our logo and a slogan. These
are all good things you can use. And we did write an article on this and if you want to
see a few more examples, we created a few examples of our page with a few different
cover images on it. So you can go ahead and click the link below in the text description
if you're interested in seeing a few different samples.

So the first step is going to be designing
this cover image. This cover image is actually going to be 851 pixels wide by 315 pixels
tall. This is the allotted space that Facebook allows in this area. So we recommend using
the entire area.

And what you can do to create this is use any image editing program like
Photoshop or fireworks or paint or any other program that you have on your computer and
I believe Facebook will be able to take png, gif, jpeg, all the major file types. So the
things you want to avoid, you don't want to list any prices, any discounts or purchase
information on the cover photo. You don't want to talk about your products; you do not
want to talk about the pricing of those products or services. You do not want any calls to
action.

Meaning you want to avoid click here, visit us, sign up here, things like that.
You don't want any contact information so avoid email addresses, avoid websites, and
avoid phone numbers or any other contact information. You also will want to avoid any Facebook references
meaning do not tell them to like your page, do not tell them to share your page. This cover page is primarily for you to be
able to represent your brand through an image. It's not there as a sales technique and if
you decide to go ahead and use those anyway, Facebook could disable your page or delete
your page.

So go ahead and do yourself a favor and do not list anything like that in your
cover image. Alright, now that your cover image is done, you already created it, you
can go to your Facebook profile and you'll want to hover over it and you'll see an icon
called change cover. You go ahead and click on that and you can scroll down to upload
photo. You go ahead and choose the upload photo on your site and Facebook will allow
you to upload it right to your profile.

Now if you notice any problems like the image
comes out blurry or it's distorted or something like that, you might want to go back and double
check that its actually 851 pixels wide by 315 pixels tall. Because if it's stretched
out or looks blurry, chances are it's not actually 851 pixels by 315 and you may need
to go re-export it so that it is, because Facebook may be trying to stretch it out once
you upload it to their site. The next step is uploading and adding in a new profile image.
The profile image is the one at the bottom left of your cover image. It actually will
go on top.

Now this is a little bit tricky because the image is displayed at 125 by 125,
but the image you want to upload is actually 180 pixels by 180 pixels. So this means when
you design it, you want to design it at 180 pixels by 180 pixels. Do not upload it at
125 by 125 because it will look stretched out, blurry and distorted. The profile image is going to be the place
where you want to upload your logo, your branding, your company name, things like that.

You don't
want to really put that stuff in the cover image. You can but you don't want it to look
too repetitive or like you have the same thing all over the place. Now you can see in ours,
we did but if you'll notice, we left the dot com out of our cover image because that's
really against Facebook's policy. But you can put it in your profile image and that's
what we did.

So that's going to be where you're going to want to put your logo and company
branding and everything. And the other thing you're going to notice is that this profile
image is also going to be the thumbnail image next to all of your comments and posts on
Facebook. So as you can see down here, we have our profile image and that's going to
be the image that everyone kind of represents with our brand when they see us on Facebook.
So it's a really good spot to put your logo. So once you have your 180 by 180 profile image
done and ready to upload you can hover over your profile image, go to edit profile, and
then go to upload photo, and then you want to choose it on your computer and go ahead
and upload it.

Now that it's uploaded you'll see that it's
in place there. We also have the option of changing the thumbnail down here. So what
you want to do to change the thumbnail is go over the profile image, click on edit profile,
and then hit edit thumbnail. Now this will allow you to kind of drag your profile image
in the thumbnail space you can kind of choose where you want to show up.

Or you can choose
scale to fit and that will squeeze your entire profile image into the thumbnail space. And
you go ahead and hit save. Now you're all set. Okay so now we're going to move on to
the apps and tabs on the right side of your profile right here.

As you can see, photos
is going to be your first one and that's just the default that Facebook has setup. We cannot
move it to a different spot, we cannot rename it, and the last image you uploaded to your
profile will be the one shown in the photos tab here. And we can't do anything about it. As you can see we uploaded a funny picture
for all of our fans to look at the other day so that's the image we have going on over
here.

But all these other ones to the right can be changed. We can change them to virtually
anything we want. So to get started, what you want to do is hit the little tab over
here with the down arrow and it's going to open up all eight available spots. And you
can move around these apps all over the place.

You can move likes down here. You can put
YouTube up here. So what you want to do to move one of them is to hover over it, hit
the pencil icon, and then it says swap positions with and you can chose which app you want
to be able to switch it with. So if we wanted to switch it with likes, there we go, YouTube
is up here.

Likes is back down here. So let me just go ahead and set it back to normal
where I had it. Okay. So within the apps you can change everything
on them.

You can change the cover image, you can change the name of them and you can even
change where they are linked to on some of them, it depends on the kind of apps that
you have. So what you want to do is hit the menu down again and you can hover over one
of the apps and go to the pencil icon. And then you go to edit settings. And then this
image will appear, this little popup and you can change the tab name and as you can see
we have it called discount code.

You can change it to anything. We'll call it discount code
now. Hit save. Hit okay and then now you can see it changed.

Although there's not enough
space there but it did change. So I'm going to go ahead and change it back. And then you
also see a spot right here where it says custom tab image. You can change out this image anytime
you want and you want to make sure that they're 111 pixels by 74 pixels, so that's 111 pixels
wide by 74 pixels tall.

And all you have to do is hit change, pick your image, hit save,
and then okay and your image will be switched out. Now on these images you can place call to
actions, you can place virtually anything you want. So I would strongly recommend putting
a call to action on there to show people what it is and tell them what it is and you'll
really get a lot more clicks to these different tabs and pages if you do that. So as you can
see here we have a $15 off coupon for all our visitors.

So if they click it they can
go here, they can see our page and see our discount code and get it. We have a couple
of different other pages setup. Different landing pages and stuff like that. So there
are a bunch of different things you can do with these tabs.

We also have another one
linking to our new YouTube page. You can link another one to your Twitter page if you want.
You can put the likes up here. There are a lot of different things you can do with them. So now you may be wondering well how do I
get these apps.

Well the easiest way to get them is to click down and show all 8 options.
Now if you have an available spot like I have here, I have 3 available spots, you can click
the little plus symbol and then hit find more apps, and you can go in here and you can look
through all these different categories of apps. You can probably do a search for them.
And all you have to do is go to the app. You click add to profile and it will add it into
your profile. So once it's in your profile you can go ahead and add it.

And you can move
it around to wherever you want. Then you can start changing the names on it, uploading
different images. You can even go to Google and do a couple of searches for any third
party companies out there that offer apps for your Facebook profile. And I would recommend
making sure that they're secure, making sure that there's no spam or spyware or firmware
on any of them.

Make sure it's from a secure site and then download it and you should be
able to install it on your Facebook profile. All he ones you find from Facebook will be
secure, they will be fine, you can go ahead and upload them any time you want. We hope you liked this guide on how to setup
a professional looking Facebook profile. And if you have any questions or comments we would

How to Build a Personal Brand Using FacebookBe Like Neil Patel, Gary Vaynerchuk or Seth Godin!

How to Build

Seth Godin, Gary Vee, Guy Kawasaki. What do they all have in common? They have extremely large personal brands. Hey, everyone, I'm Neil Patel. Today, I'm going to teach you how to build
a personal brand leveraging Facebook.

Facebook's the most popular social network
out there. According to alexa.Com, it's the third most
popular site. With Facebook, you can leverage it to build
a huge brand. I'm going to show you how within a few steps.

The first thing you need to do is post on
a daily basis. If you're not engaging on a daily basis, then
you're not going to build a big brand. You could be posting motivational quotes,
you could be posting things that are related to your industry, you could be posting daily
videos. Whatever you're posting, it has to be related
to the type of personal brand that you want to build.

For example, with me, I want to be known as
an online marketer. If you look at the content that I publish
on my Facebook fan page, it's related to online marketing. From the videos to the posts and status updates,
it's all marketing related. Sure, every once in awhile, I put in some
personal stuff as well because that's the point of social media, it's to connect with
people on the personal level, but most the content that I post is related to the industry
I'm in.

The second thing you need to do is engage
within your community. When someone leaves a comment, respond to
them. If someone messages you, again, open up that
message, read it, respond to it. Participate in groups, right? If you're not participating on pages outside
of your own fan page, you're not really participating in the community and engaging.

There's other groups, there's other pages
that are within your niche. Make sure you engage on those pages as well. Help those people. That will cause more people to come to your
fan page and like, friend you, and follow you.

The third thing you need to leverage is live
videos. Facebook's putting so much attention into
live videos because it's the new version of reality TV in which you can see what's happening
with people's daily lives. If you look at Gary Vaynerchuk, one of the
big reasons that he's created such a large personal brand is that he leverages Facebook
Live. The more live video that you end up creating,
the more quickly that your fan base is going to grow.

Because Facebook notifies people right when
you go live and it tells everyone, "Hey, check you out." If you follow those things, you'll start building
a bigger personal brand using Facebook.

How to Boost Posts on Facebook, Better

How to Boost Posts on Facebook, Better

If you have a Facebook Business Page, you've probably seen the little button suggesting you boost a post. Don't touch it. I know, you're tempted. With that button, Facebook allows you to advertise content with just two clicks.

And considering how confusing Facebook advertising can be, it may seem like a quick win. But I promise, it's not the best use of your money. Instead, promote your posts in the Ad Manager. It may take a few extra minutes, but it'll give you more control over who sees your ad and the cost effectiveness of your spend.

Go to the drop down menu in the top right corner of your Page and look for Create Ads. Pick the objective of your campaign. This should depend on the ideal action you want people to take when they see your post. If you promote a blog post, for instance, optimize for traffic.

Pick the location, age group, and gender you want to advertise to. Use Detailed Targeting to specify Pages they've liked, interests, or even what company they work for -- a great idea for B2B advertisers. Then set your budget, whether that's a daily budget or the maximum spent for the ad. Finally, flip over to the Use Existing Post tab.

There you can choose a post you've already published, place your order, and you're done. Word to the wise, not every post is worth your money. Look to the Posts tab in Page Insights to see which are already receiving above-average engagement from your fans. Those are great candidates to boost with your budget.

As you get the hang of Facebook advertising, you'll start to understand which content works well for paid. Plan the featured images of those post ahead of time. You won't be able to promote any that have more than 20% text. I know, Facebook is making it harder and harder for Pages to have their content seen in the News Feed.

Don't be discouraged and definitely don't let Facebook tempt you with that boost button. Promote your post the right way and always keep your goal in mind..

Facebook Video Marketing Tips & Strategy To GROW Your Social Media

Facebook Video Marketing Tips & Strategy To GROW Your Social Media

Image source: https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8Go1RhGna1dKX0GUWZuPd0-wiEAQzf-MDvAoUx-DcdmYYmE3TzWIYVhCZ19VOp0E5vpZwHDPg59GhZjQIvIgQd3rLmm2CzKHuQnf6HHKyfAKF7fykUJm8ouM9hyphenhyphenCw81FOFYbQBsC5F7M/s1600/Natalia-Velez-Besame-Lingerie-10-781x1024.jpg

Do you feel like your Facebook social media
channel is stagnating? The steady growth just
isnt there anymore? You are still putting in the work and crafting
exceptional content, yet despite your efforts, your organic reach is dropping steadily
and your click through rate is following suit. N: Its not you. Its the algorithm. The average Facebook page saw organic reach
drop by a whopping 52% in 2016.

One study found that the average reach of
a post by a branded Facebook page is just 2.6%. N: Facebook has been tweaking its algorithm
to show people info thats relevant to them, focusing on
updates from friends, family and pages theyve specifically interacted with recently, and
of course, paid ads. While it is better for consumers, it poses
a challenge for marketers. N: And its not just Facebook.

Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter also change
their algorithms. All of this
is designed to put the right content in front of the right people. So how do you make sure that content is
yours? (Note - Part 2: The solution)
N: Make video an integral part of your social media marketing strategy. Video has an irresistible
appeal.

Need some proof? Video will make up 82% of all consumer internet
traffic by 2021, Using video as part of your marketing strategy can
double your conversion rate and increase the time users
spend on your site by 105% and 43% of consumers actually want businesses to create more video
content. N: Video works because it cuts through the
noise and grabs our attention. We are attracted to fast
moving and shiny things. Its biology.

And once youve got the users attention,
its time to follow the golden rule of social media: Create irresistible
content that answers a real question, solves a real
problem and treats the viewer like an actual person. Here are some tips that will help you do that. (Note - Part 3: Get started, pick your topic)
N: So how do you get started? Coming up with ideas for your first couple
of videos doesnt have to be hard. Use your current assets to get some relevant
video topics.

N: Like, for example, your FAQ section! Customer questions are a gold mine. Use it. Go through the
questions that get asked all the time, pick one and make a short video around it. N: Or make blog teasers.

Create short social videos that tease the
question your blog post answers. If
your blog post offers, say, 10 tips to solve some kind of problem, then create a video
that gives one tip and then tease the blog post at the end of
the video or in corresponding social media post. This is a
great way to bring older content out to play. N: Also, You can share quick footage from
your day.

Consumers have more choice than ever before. Use video to show off your personality and
make a connection. Grab your phone and snap some behind
the scenes footage on it's camera and share it with your followers. (Note - Part 4: Get your tools)
N: Making video for social media doesnt have to be hard.

And it definitely doesnt need to involve
expensive equipment and tens of hours sunk into making it perfect. Social media isnt about perfection. Its about reaching through that digital
screen for some human on human interaction. Lets take a look
at some tools you can use to make videos really quickly.

N: Number one. By far, the easiest way to make an explainer
video or tease an exciting project you are working on, is using Vidyards GoVideo. It's a super useful, free Google Chrome extension. Use it to
record your screen and share your video on social media straight away.

N: Number two. For putting together great marketing and social
media videos by pulling together images, short videos, text and music, use
super simple video makers like Animoto and Biteable. Both
of these platforms let you add your own voice over. So make sure to use a posh accent.

N: Number three. For quick and simple editing use Camtasia
or iMovie. Using these applications
together with a solid webcam, decent lighting and a good microphone, you can make quick
videos from your desk. N: Crafting the right type of content for
social media is a lot like picking out birthday gifts for your
best friends.

If you want to amaze them, you need to put
in the work and get specific. (Note - Part 5: Facebook video format, best
practices) N: First, create an explosive, attention grabbing
start and keep it short and snappy after that. A user
decides whether to stick around within the first three seconds. So grab that attention and dont let it
go! N: Also, Make sure you include subtitles and
minimize the need for text.

85% Of Facebook videos are
watched with the sound off. It's crucial that the viewer can enjoy your
video fully with just the subtitles! N: Secondly, Set the auto-play with the sound
off. 80% Of users get annoyed if your video auto-plays
with the sound on. Keep that volume off until they choose to
switch it on.

N: Thirdly, upload native videos! On average, Facebook native videos get 168%
more interactions, 477% more shares and 530% more comments than
videos hosted off platform. It really pays to upload
your videos directly to Facebook. N: And lastly, optimize for mobile! Users are 5 times as likely to watch your
video on a mobile device. Make sure your video works in any size! N: Buzzfeeds Tasty is the master of putting
these points into practice.

Tasty teases us with the end
result long enough to get our attention and then gives us the meat. The videos are colorful, dont need
sound and have enough text to let you know whats going on without overwhelming you. The majority
are 60 to 90 seconds long and are pretty easy to follow. (Note - Part 6: Content calendar)
N: Weve talked about video topics, software and best practices.

Now we need to take a look at the big
guy. Your content calendar. Youve got a content calendar for your blog
posts. You use a social media
management tool for your updates.

And you need a content calendar for video. N: A content calendar will keep you accountable
and help you track results. It will make sure you never
run out of ideas and help you plan ahead of time. Because just like with a blog, maintaining
a consistent strategy is hard.

Life happens, other stuff comes up. N: So, before you dive in, decide: How often
you are going to make videos, How youll track results,
What type channel you want to experiment with first, and how the video will fit into your
overall marketing strategy. Then draft some topics, and put them on the
calendar. (Note - Part 7: Final words)
N: This might probably sound a bit obvious considering that were talking about Facebook
video marketing tips, but Facebook really is the
King right now when it comes to video platforms.

Over 1.3
Billion people log into Facebook every single day. N: By planning your content, reusing the assets
youve already got and using the right software, you
can create great videos for Facebook, find an audience and grow your following. N: Dont let the lack of time excuse
keep you from using video to grow your social media channels. This is perhaps the number one, among all
Facebook video marketing tips! Just try it, and let us know
how it worked out for you, in the comments below..

Facebook Messenger Marketing 101 - Molly Pittman Expert Session

Facebook Messenger Marketing

Hey everyone this is Trevor Erickson with StuKent I'm super excited for this expert session today you get to hear from the vice president of marketing at digital marketer Mollie Pittman while I. Was attending the social media marketing world conference I was able to catch Molly's presentation and immediately thought that she would make an amazing expert session speaker so today she'll be sharing her expert on facebook messenger marketing did you know that there are over 1 billion people using facebook Messenger I had no idea that number is huge that's a ton of people and that means there's a ton of opportunity to get in front of them so without any further ado let's turn the stage over to Molly cool thanks for the introduction Trevor excited to be here like Trevor said I'm going to be talking about Facebook messenger marketing today again my name is Molly Pittman I'm the VP of Marketing at at digital marketer were an e-learning company that likes to talk about online marketing so in specifically related to Facebook messenger marketing and and really the reason that we started paying attention to messenger marketing was because Facebook rolled out messenger ads so they rolled out the ability to tap into their Facebook messenger platform and to actually run ads on the platform now this happened November 8th 2016 so this is still really new to advertisers and to consumers there are over 1 billion users so there's actually 1.2 Billion active monthly users on the facebook messenger platform specifically as of April 2017 so one point two billion monthly active users which is really insane for a messaging platform now the feedback that I've heard about facebook Messenger and facebook Messenger marketing since we started teaching it was you know this will only work for tech audiences right only people that are technically minded would use Facebook Messenger and actually respond to brand so if you're thinking that definitely try to remove that thought from your head just like the Facebook platform in general Facebook Messenger is used by many different demographics age ranges this is not something that just works for a tech audience Facebook Messenger has a huge amount of consumption it's funny this is a screenshot of my great-grandmother she's in her 90s and she uses facebook Messenger so if your audience is using facebook Messenger you can market to them through this channel it's not about being high tech it's about entering the conversation where your audience is already having theirs right so if your audience is using facebook Messenger which they probably are then this type of advertising can end and will work for you it's about being present where they're actually having their conversation so this works like any other social advertising and here are some interesting graphs on the left-hand side you can see that in 2015 first quarter of 2015 the monthly active users of the top four messaging apps actually surpassed the monthly active users for the top four social network now what's interesting about Facebook is it's both right so you have the social networking side and then you have the messenger side so the reason that Facebook Messenger has has become such a thing is because it was built off of the back of you know the the biggest social network so I just wanted to show that that chart there on the left-hand side to show you that even comparing these messenger apps to social networks Facebook Twitter Linkedin Instagram these messenger apps have a higher monthly consumption which was pretty insane I was I was shocked when I. Saw that chart but also people's preferences are shifting so it's not just about them using these messenger apps you know to talk to their family and their friends Facebook did a study and 56% of people say it said they would rather message than call customer service so they would rather message a brand than call their customer service line more than one and two people say they're more likely to shop with a business they can message and 67% of people expect a message business is more in the next two years and really the point that I'm trying to make with this slide is for you to think about how you use you know instant message communication in your life right you know most people don't even answer phone calls of numbers that they don't know or maybe numbers that they do know right you know it to me it's almost rude to call someone without texting them first right and in today's culture so really the point of this slide is to get you thinking about the role that messenger plays in your life and in the lives of many people that are like you but you know the other day I was was trying to get a hold of AT&T's customer service and the first thing that I googled was AT&T live chat I wanted that instantaneous communication and I didn't want to have to talk to someone on the phone email is slow and the phone is kind of obnoxious so from my points of view messaging and instant communication is my preferred communication line with brands and businesses and most people are trending in that direction so this isn't just about being on Facebook Messenger as a marketer to even generate leads or sales this is about even just being reactive and being present on these channels because your customers and your prospects they want to communicate via these communication methods and it's not just about customer service so this was a little image that Facebook released and you can see that messenger played and each step of the customer journey here so consideration a 35% of people were messaging the business to ask a question 33 percent asking about sore hours location inventory 34 percent making or confirming an appointment 33 percent actually making a purchase or placing an order over messenger connection 30 percent providing feedback about the business after purchase and 39 percent were sharing photos of a product you know or some sort of feedback after the purchase so a funny story actually signed an apartment lease through facebook Messenger so I was driving through Austin and I saw that they were building a new apartment and I was interested I was in a place where I was ready to move and so I messaged the the apartment complex directly on Facebook and from the you know me inquiring about the the complex to setting up a tour to actually signing the lease everything happened through facebook Messenger so it just goes to show that you can literally facilitate the entire customer journey with a prospect to a customer to a promoter for your business through Facebook's messenger but it's not just for talking and if you use facebook Messenger you've probably noticed that you can now send money to anyone via PayPal right inside of messenger they do have integrations for brand pages with stripe and PayPal more to come so this isn't just about talking I believe that Facebook Messenger will absolutely become a commerce platform if you read anything about you know what Facebook saying about messenger they actually say they don't want it to become a commerce platform but what they mean by that is they're not looking to take a percentage of payments that go through facebook Messenger right that's not their monetization model Facebook is going to stick with an advertising monetization model inside of messenger just like they have you know in the newsfeed and on on the social the actual social side that doesn't mean that Facebook isn't looking to facilitate commerce for their brands and for you know businesses inside of messenger so in the next few months and it's already in beta you will start to see the ability to actually browse through products to ask a company if they have you know your size in a certain colored shirt and you will have the ability to pay to input your shipping information to input your credit card information and to essentially click buy right within messenger but what's important here is that if people don't build engagement inside of messenger other than just asking people to buy stuff those brands are going to have trouble ever selling through messenger um so until we do have the functionality to you know have the payment buttons right inside of messenger I'm absolutely encouraging brands and marketers to look at this platform from a way of you know how can i really make this engaging to the end-user right so how can I use facebook Messenger ads to engage people to give them good content you know to explain more about my you know your products how can you use a bot to give them good content and that's what I'm going to be talking about today so first let's talk about Facebook messenger ads so there are two totally different types of ads that are lumped into the idea of facebook messenger ads so the first is facebook Messenger as a destination and these open inside of a message the second is Facebook's messenger as a placement and these are called sponsored messages these are more like email and they actually appear inside of your inbox as an unread message just like a message from your family or friends would appear inside of messenger so this is what the first type facebook Messenger is a destination looks like you're scrolling through your newsfeed you see an ad whether it's an image or a video or a carousel and you click on that ad and then immediately opens right there inside of messenger in the bottom right hand corner if you're on mobile it will open in the messenger app it will open a conversation directly with that brand so this is set at the ad level so if you're setting up an ad and at the ad level under page and links instead of selecting website URL you would simply select messenger so this is telling Facebook I don't want the traffic to go to you a URL I actually wanted to open right inside side of messenger so this is set at the ad level this particular ad type is as you can see here you can put the text in the bottom left hand corner that's going to go into your ad so have questions about digital marketer lab and how it can help grow your business Facebook chat with one of our specialists to get your questions answered under message text that's what will appear inside of messenger after someone clicks on one of these ads so if for some reason you aren't seeing that option inside of your ads manager or power editor most pages do have get messages as an option on their Facebook page so this is another way to set up this ad type so here's an example of the first destination ad that we ran at digital marketer so it's the one you saw before have a question about how we can help double the size of your business have a question about DM lab or any of our products click here to chat now this was just a test we had just received access to this ad type and I wanted to simply give it give it a test right so this ad isn't perfect but we were just testing and so this was posted to our page and then I boosted it to our email list and our website custom audiences so I wanted to run it to people that you know knew the brand right because we were asking if they had questions about our products so we spent $800 and generated over 300 conversations and they were great conversations like do you have a UK. Contact number I'm very interested in some of your products but not sure where to start I would love to talk to someone that person you know we got on the phone with them and we were able to sell them one of our products so these conversations were very very helpful in actually selling also answering questions you know from our prospects people that had questions but what was cool is that we knew we could drum up conversation through this ad type right we were able to have a 300 conversations for 800 dollars and that was asking people if they had questions about our products right so we immediately knew that this ad type had a pulse after we ran this test a great way to use this ad type is to retarget down the funnel retarget further down the customer journey to help overcome any barriers to entry so for example if you have a sales page where you're asking people to buy something or you're asking them to fill out a form, a great way to use these destination ads is to create a custom audience of people who have landed on that that sales page or that landing page but didn't reach the thank-you page so they didn't take whatever action you were wanting them to take and usually when people get that far in the sales cycle and they don't buy there's usually a reason it's usually not that they actually don't want whatever you're selling or whatever you're offering it's usually that a question came up in their mind that wasn't answered and so instinctually they hit the back button they hit the X.

And they went along that they went about their day so a great way to use these ads is to essentially provide you know a chat option for people who don't take the action that you want to see if you can help overcome any barriers to entry they might have to doing whatever you're wanting them to do so this ad was retargeting people that landed on a sales page for one of our products but didn't buy and it says have questions about the EM lab and how it can help grow your business Facebook chat with one of our specialists to get your questions answered we're here to help questions about DM lab chat with one of our specialists you can see that we've actually incorporated the little bubble there and the bottom left-hand corner psychologically that triggers in most people's minds that use Facebook messenger or use Apple products Oh someone is actually talking to me right so using that little chat bubble was really successful for us and people were able to click and chat with someone on our sales team that could help answer questions about the product and we were able to sell it to them you can also target more top of the funnel people with these types of ads but you must prompt you know with a relevant question so what I mean by this is you know you could run one of these ads and target anyone in the world right but you obviously don't want to start a bunch of irrelevant questions so asking what is your favorite color and having people message your page probably isn't a good use of your resources so if you are using this more at the top of a funnel make sure you are asking questions or you're enticing them to message for a reason that really fits into a sales conversation for the business so for example maybe you're having them click and message your page to download a report right that's great if it leads to the ideal sales conversation for you know whatever business you are working on so just be careful if you're using these more at the top of the funnel and to target cold traffic that you are are leading with the ideal sales conversation and that you're not just um running ads that ask random questions that that you know aren't going to lead to anything in the business so just a recap Facebook messenger as a destination this first ad type the the key thing here is that you can target anyone so you can target absolutely anyone with these ads interest targeting behavioral targeting, custom audiences every targeting option that's available with with normal ads you can use that for these destination ads these are only available in the newsfeed mobile and desktop and if you want to set one of these ads up you would need to use the objectives send people to a destination on or off Facebook which is also called traffic or a boosted post page post engagement type of ad now let's move to Facebook Messenger as a placement so these are sponsored messages and as you can see here these actually appear as an unread message in your facebook inbox just like you would receive from a friend or a family member and you can see here at the bottom that you know these look like normal messages you can also add a fancy little button there which is pretty cool too but these sponsored messages appear in people's Facebook inbox these are set at the ad set level so when you're setting up an ad you'll need to uncheck Facebook Instagram and audience Network and then check messenger so that this is simply a placement available at the ad set level inside of ads manager or power editor so a few things to know about Facebook messenger as a placement with these types of messages you can only target people who have previously messaged your page in the past so that's what what is key about these messages and what will keep you know marketers from just spamming people's Facebook inbox you can only target people who have previously messaged to your page in the past you can use the send people to a destination on or off Facebook, traffic objective or you can use the conversion objective messages can contain one link and one photo and basically Facebook is going to charge you whether some one opens these messages or not so brands will have to pay for the Ad impression even if the person on the other end never opens the sponsored message which could obviously get a little expensive but these messages are absolutely worth it their high touch point but there's a better easier and cheaper way to do this and we're using a tool called manychat as you can see here on the screen there are other tools like this I've just found manychat to be the easiest to use the best tool and for the pro version it's only $10 a month you can see that it says create a Facebook bot to engage with your audience that this tool is so much more than a Facebook bot you don't even have to use that feature to really make this tool worth it the key here is that you're building a subscriber list so when someone messages your page you are building a list of those people right it's it's just a messenger subscriber list similar to a website custom audience and you can figure out how big your list is by creating an engagement custom audience inside of Facebook and then just selecting from the drop-down that you want an audience of people who have messaged your page in the past Manychat also builds that subscriber list for you inside of their tool which is really useful you can broadcast for $10 a month so all of the messages that we just talked about sending and paying for them whether people you know saw them or opens them or whether they didn't you can do all of that for a flat rate of only $10 a month through a many chat you can also do a lot of fancy things like set up follow-up sequences that are similar to email autoresponders you can use their tagging they have a really cool feature now where if you comment on it you can set it up it's called Facebook's comment to message feature and you can set this up on a post to where someone comments on that post they are immediately auto-messaged so a lot of cool features inside of mini chat other than setting up a bot here's where you're building subscribers inside a dashboard which is really exciting here's the option to send broadcast so notice that you can add text image gallery lists you can send and you know people's particular time zones you can say that you want it to be a regular push which means whatever settings are on their phone so it would be like receiving a normal Facebook message so you know I want the push notification on their screen I want the sound I don't want the sound so manychat allows you to get very specific with these broadcast messages which is really really exciting you can see that the open rates on the first few that we sent are really high eighty-nine percent, eighty six percent, 67 percent and the you know we've obviously sent more since then and the read rates here are really really high so keep in mind this audience is very very engaged and because this platform is so new people are used to opening messages and even if these messages are from brands they are opening the message because they have messaged you in the past right there's some relationship built there so really high open rates from these broadcast messages here are some examples of broadcasts that we've sent at digital marketer on the left hey there because you're a value DM. Subscriber we want to extend an invitation for you to join our 15,000 plus member community the process is simple click the button below follow the two-step invitation process and we'll reach back out to you in a few days a nice little button there the right to get to our eighth annual traffic and conversion summit increase in price tonight at midnight grab yours while they're still 50 percent off because you're a DM subscriber use the code carpe dm for an extra $300 off and we were able to put an image in there and a nice call-to-action so notice that in both messages, we make them feel special for being a messenger subscriber so just two quick examples of sponsored messages that we've sent I. Believe that brands are going to need to articulate a communication strategy for messenger right so whether you're using it to announce new content or items of interest you know in your your market to promote new products reminders for flash sales or deals just really sitting down and thinking about this like you would your email list and you know what are you sending when and why I. Believe that you shouldn't send more than at least more than one broadcast a week the platform is not mature enough for people to you know they're not used to receiving these broadcasts so just keep in mind that this is very new and make sure you don't overdo it so I want to go into a little section of how to take advantage of messenger ads even if you're not or messenger even if you're not buying ads install manychat inbound messages will become subscribers so immediately install manychat so you can start to build that list think of inbound messages as a selling opportunity so most Facebook pages are already getting customer service messages through through Facebook right so if you can help people when they message your page but also ask them other questions like at digital marketer we will help them and then say you know what else is going on in your business how can we help to really start a conversation where we can help that person and possibly sell you know one of our products to them use your manychat link to drive conversations so Facebook gives you a unique link that if clicked on anywhere on the web it will open inside of a Facebook message conversation with your brand so it's very smart to use that link to drive conversations because messenger is a place where people want to chat it's also a great way to turn your existing following into messenger subscribers and you can also integrate Facebook Messenger with your tech stack here's an example of a link inside of an email so we sent an email asking people if they wanted to buy tickets to our events and at the bottom we said you've got three ways to answer reply to this email give us a call or my personal favorite and the fastest way to hear your discount let's chat on Facebook so people who are literally clicking this link and having conversations in facebook like good morning I would like to in fact get another ticket the person's name will be blank and the last four digits on the card you can charge is an Amex ending in blank blank blank blank so most people use the chat option from this email so not only were we able to have quicker sales conversations we were also able to turn our existing audience into messengers subscribers you can also integrate with your text stack so whatever technology you're using in your business they're probably figuring out an integration with Facebook Messenger right now so for example this is Shopify's integration so imagine you're on the order form it says get order updates customer service and more that's that's checked you hit complete order and here as an example that that I experienced I.

Immediately received the confirmation number from the brand you know the order and then when they actually shift they sent me the message on the right so I. Was able to follow the shipment on this map which was really really cool so this is a very passive way to turn your existing traffic into messenger subscribers unfortunately I haven't heard from this brand since inside of of messenger but at least they are using this to build subscribers so you might be thinking this requires a lot of human resources and here are some tips to ensure that it doesn't. Start small further down the funnel so if you're just getting started and you want to make a difference with messenger and you don't have a lot of humans on the other side chatting start small use this as a retargeting platform essentially so that the conversations that you do have a really high leverage get help from a bot so inside of mini chat you can set up all kinds of sequences that will basically allow your bot to answer questions for you to ask questions for you you know in the least it's great to just say hey you know I'm the Facebook bot and my humans will be back shortly right so that they get that instantaneous response from the bot and so that they know that a human is coming within certain business hours you can also integrate with customer service software or use the tagging system inside of Facebook so as you can see because we have multiple people inside of our messenger we use a tagging process so that they know you know if this is the sales conversation if it's completed who's working on which conversation so that there isn't overlap so those the tags those labels inside of Facebook make it a lot easier to use so just some action steps for you guys install mini chat run Facebook Messenger destination ads to build your list but make sure that you're giving them a reason to click right so give them a free resource if they message your page or a coupon give them a reason to take action send sponsored messages to your list and and that's really the the three steps that we recommend in terms of getting started right now this platform is evolving and changing very very quickly so I think what's important right now is for people to build really engaged audiences inside of messenger yes it's great to use it to generate sales but I believe that the people that use it as a conversation mechanism right now and to give a lot of value and content upfront when this really does turn into a commerce platform I think that those people will win but this is a really exciting exciting time I actually talked to the CEO of manychat last week he was at the F8 Developers Conference with Facebook and they are forecasting that in the next two to three years Messenger will essentially gobble up 80% of the communication market so you know in terms of email phone messenger you know when when people are talking to brands Messenger will take up 80% of that market which is huge so it's time to to learn this stuff now and to start testing so I hope you guys enjoyed this definitely check us out at digital marketer.Com if you have any questions feel free to to find me on Facebook and I'm always happy to help.

Facebook MarketingMarketing On Facebook 101

Facebook MarketingMarketing On

Image source: http://image.slidesharecdn.com/berghsdigitalmanagementdag1slideshare-121018142150-phpapp02/95/grundkurs-i-digital-marknadsfring-berghs-2012-7-638.jpg?cb=1396719296

Hey guys, in this video I am going to explain
the number one way to make massive amounts of money on Facebook, and it is definitely
NOT what you are expecting, stick around  Whats up friends my name is Matt Johnson from
Mobius Media Solutions, and I want to talk about the best way to make massive amounts
of money on Facebook. So without further adue here is the secret
Give everything away .Literally everything. If you are a home builder, give people tips
and tricks on how to do things themselves. If you are an entrepreneur, tell people how
to start and grow their own business for free.

If you are a dentist or chiropractor, show
people the best methods to NEVER have to visit your practice ever again. Are you confused yet? Perfect, let me explain. Marketing through a social media channel
like facebook is what most refer to as interruption marketing. Meaning that your advertising, and selling
strategies will be interrupting the daily lives of individuals using this social
media platform.

You know what people DONT want on Facebook? To be sold to hands down. Some time ago I started listening to a podcast
put out by members of Digital marketer, and Dominate Web Media, and I think they put it
best when they said, Facebook is a big party, and not one wants to be near that guy
at the party who after 10 seconds of introductions is pitching you some service or product to
change your life. That resonated with me, because I think EVERYONE
can relate to that story, and so many business owners starting with facebook do this, dont
see results, and label Facebook as ineffective. What you CAN do on Facebook is build what
Digital Marketing Gurus like Gary Vaynerchuck refer to as, relational equity, and
THAT pays off in massive dividends.

The way we do this is by building trust, and
authority within your specific niche, or industry. THAT is how we make our money on Facebook. It is a long term play, but make no mistake
about it. Facebook is widely recognized as the BIGGEST
and most potent advertising platform avilable today, and it is JUST getting started! So here is the play to make a TON of money
on Facebook.

Identify your target market and give away
value to that audience FIRST. I would even say the first 5 or 6 times you
touch an audience should be giving true, honest value. It is all about building that relationship
that you can monetize down the road. Have you ever seen those commercials on TV
where massive brands dont even display an incentive, or location to purchase, and in
some cases your left asking what the commercial even had to do with the brand its self? Well what these brands understand is the value
of building themselves as the authority, and Facebook allows small, medium, and large businesses
that kind of power also.

I would even argue it allows it in a massively
more effective way. So what we do is build our relational equity
by running ads that do nothing but offer true value, and 3-4 months down the road when we
offer our low cost incentive to turn those warm leads into customers, we get to cash
in. That is how the most succesful companies are
doing it today, and its nothing more than the mindset, of giving true value away in
order to dominate later. Thanks so much for listening guys I hope you
found this helpful.

Do us a favor and comment below. Let us know your thoughts on this subject,
and if you would like to see some more hands on how to style stuff on setting up
Facebook ads if your new to it. Make sure to subscribe to our channel, and
follow us on social so we can practice giving YOU value, and if you want to check out the
podcast, or Gary Vaynerchucks channel I mentioned earlier, make sure to read through the description. There are links in it to each of those, thanks
again guys, and take care!.

Facebook Marketing Turn Your Friends Into Business Partners (Without Being Sales-y)

Facebook Marketing Turn

We'll pass the mic over to Sarah because
when it comes to cold market prospecting you are the queen, my dear.  I see you
do this all the time, and you do it with such style and elegance.  So would you
share a little bit about your attitude when you meet people and how you network
because I think if everyone could do what you do they'd be very successful.
Well, I think one of the things is being a stay-at-home mom you forget that just
because this is a home-based business it doesn't mean that you stay home, right?
So, you know, forcing yourself to get out and to meet people, it's so
important because people, you know they share with me all the time - Well I don't
have anyone to talk to.  And I'm like well you need to get out and and really take
on that mindset of, you know, going out and making friends.

So for
me, everywhere that I go, I I truly, I just want to be a connector.  Whether it be
at a networking event or at a mixer or whatever it may be, you know for me
personally, you want to be that girl that people know that you you
can connect.  Like people call me and say  - Hey, do you know a really good
plumber?  Because I've been to enough networking events, met enough people,
where I really come from the place of I. Want to serve.

So I have got so many
different connections, not even in network marketing, just in general,
because I love serving that way. And it's fun to be at an event or be
somewhere and they're like - Oh how do you guys know each other?  And you're like - Oh,
I met them through Sarah. Because I never tried to recruit them
for my business.  I really came from that place of serving, and so I think, you know,
for me personally, it's just how many you friends can you make?  You know my
goal is like - Hey you can't out friend me, You know what I mean? But again, it always comes full circle.

I can't tell you the timing of
different people's lives and you know coming to them, coming back, and saying -
Hey you know what?  I'd love to connect with you more about what you do.  But
I love social media as well because that really allows people to do their
homework on you.  So when I do meet people because people always say well do talk about your opportunity right away? I personally
for me, I don't.  That's again, that's not my motive.

I mean I really
feel that every person that I need in my life, they're
either going to enrich my life personally or professionally.  Either
way it's a win . I mean that's really my mindset as I make a friend every day.  So you know I love social media because it allows people to, as I add them as
friends, like I'll meet someone and say Hey are you on LinkedIn?  Are you on Facebook? Whatever it may be, I say hey let's stay
connected that way.

I'll send them a private note or whatever, and we just
stay connected.  But it's so cool because then guess what?   They get to watch my
life, and how I interact, and how I am with people, and how I am with my
family, and they might see a little bit of my business.  But I love that because
people, they want to make the decision for themselves, right?  And so it
allows me, I love social media for that aspect and staying connected with them.
Brilliant.  Do you have any tips in terms of how you use Facebook, let's say, because I know  you're really active on Facebook.

You share somewhat about your business and highlight things that are going on with your team.  I do the 1/3 rule.  So for
personally for me, I mean I love being personal on my Facebook, I mean I
meet people and they're like they don't really ever ask about me.  They're always
like so how is Hudson doing? How's you daughter? They don't even, like, what about me? What, am I chopped liver? But again I you know I love
that .

So all my posts, like 1/3 of my posts are all personal, life, fun stuff,
whatever, so they get to know me.  The other third is inspirational, maybe it's a
quote, maybe it's an image, maybe it's something that I feel of value, like something that they can be encouraged by.  Then the other third
is business, but my business is, I like to live very authentically.  I'm not on there
like posting this is about you know whatever specific product or
what-have-you.

I like to create the curiosity, or really
stories that I've had, and I like to use images and stuff where they go - Oh my
gosh. I can relate to that.  So I'm really careful on that posting because
we've all have friends that like barf their business all
over the place and they can't figure out why can't I bring people in.  Everyone
goes - I do not want to be that girl.

You know what I mean?  So I'm very careful on, they
see that I have a life, and they see that I weave my business in my life, and go -
Hey, I can do that, I want to do that too. Yes.  Beautiful.  So we have the warm market queen here; we have the cold market that turns them into a warm market.
You really do.

I just want to reiterate some of the things you do so
well, because I see you chatting people up all the time whenever I've
been around you.  You're connecting with people constantly.  We're standing in line
at Starbucks, you're making friends. We're standing in line at the
airport you're making friends.

So you know if you ever think that you just
don't have any way to connect with people, I mean, I think you're a living
example of how if you just are willing to open your mouth and say hello and
connect with people you can make friends everywhere.  I really feel from you
whenever I've been around you, when I. First was getting to know you, but also
I've seen you do this with other people, you sincerely care about people.  You're not making a connection to see if there might be a business opportunity in
there for you.

You genuinely care.  I. Know people feel that and they respond
to that and that's why you have such a large natural network.  Then when you
are elegantly sharing about what you do or it comes time to mention more directly your product or your business,  it's never weird, and
people just are so open because they know first and foremost that your
relationship with them is genuine and it's for friendship versus any other
opportunity might come from it.

So I just want to acknowledge you for that.  You
know if everybody did what Sarah did on a regular basis, you would have a very
large natural network of people that would be very open to hearing about
anything that you're up to. So thank both of you for that..

Facebook Marketing Tips 20161 Secret but Powerful Facebook Marketing Tip

Facebook Marketing Tips

Facebook Marketing Tips 2016. Now if you're
watching this right now it's December of 2015. Use this tip that I'm about to share with
you to market on Facebook 2016 as well as 2015.
So would you like to know a little secret that I've been using to increase my engagement
and the amount of people who see my posts on Facebook?
If you do, stay tuned. My name is Billy Funk the Extreme Networker
and I love teaching things that have not only helped myself but have helped other people.
And if you understand Facebook Marketing at all you know that Facebook uses an Algorithm
called Edge Rank, when it comes to showing people your posts.
So if you've got 2000 friends and you make a post a picture post and they put it on the
newsfeed of lets say 8% of your friends.

Let's say 10%. That's 200 people.
Based on the amount of that group of people, the likes, the comments and the shares that
you get will then determine whether or not Facebook shows this to more people.
Or just leaves it as is. So if you have got a post that you're looking
to get more engagement on, more eyeballs, maybe you're marketing something, maybe you're
trying to get more people to a webinar, maybe you're selling a product, maybe you've got
a video you want more eyeballs on. What you want to do is this little tiny secret
that I've been using that works really really really well.
So knowing Facebook's algorithm and knowing that for every comment you get, for every
share that you get and for every like that you get is kinda like a point system.
The more points that you have the more people will see your posts.
You can simply go on any post, so here's a post I did 7 hours ago.
Talking about a free webinar that I'm hosting on how to rank videos.
And I want more people to see this post.

So I have 20 people that have actually liked
it, one person shared it and I only have 3 comments.
So what I like to do is to figure out who are the people who have liked it that haven't
commented yet. Alright. This whole group of people right here.
So I went ahead and I typed all their names out.
What I do is I bring up a note and I simply type all their names out. Okay.
And then I think of something to say to them.

First I'm going to thank them.
I also say I really appreciate it and I'm excited to share some really cool strategies.
So what I do is, I simply grab this I grab all their names I copy it.
And I'm going to comment. Which by the way, this is actually going to
increase my edge rank because even though it's a comment from me, it's still a comment.
It's still points in the edge rank factor of how many people see your posts.
So I'm going to first write Thank You for the Likes, then I'm going to type in all their
names, and so you simply go like this. You click on each person's name and it will
actually pop up their name. This one actually popped up that person's
name twice.

So it's easier to do if you actually go to
the bottom of this post to the very end of it. I click on that person's name.
So I want each person to actually see this, there we go, put a comma.
I also like to delete the last names of people. It gives more space for you to type stuff
in. As in it's more anonymity.
So I'm going to hit pause and I'm going to show you what to do next.
Alright so I finished tagging the first group of people, Thanks for the likes and I've got
9 people's names tagged.

I really appreciate it and I'm excited to share some really cool
strategies with you on the webinar. Have an Awesome rest of your day.
And I simply click on enter. Boom. Then I do that one more time.

Here's another
reason why I do that. Alright besides giving it another point.
Because you're actually making a comment, I'm also pulling all those people back into
my post. And I've yet to see when I've done this, I've
yet to see at least one person not engage with that simple little comment. See right
away Michael McCormack clicked on the like button.
One of these people that I just tagged is going to comment something, I can just smell
it, I can sense it.

And it's going to increase the edge rank of
this post and look I already got 3 likes on that. One two three likes.
So that's more points for Facebook to show this to more people and more people are going
to take a look at this post. And are going to want to sign up for my webinar. Which is
right here.

So this your Facebook Tip of 2016 or Facebook
Marketing Tips 2016. Hope you enjoyed it. If you got any value from this please feel
free to share it with anyone you think would get value as well.
If you like this video, click the like button below I would appreciate it. Would love to

negative feedback to yourself. No if you got anything that you think I could improve upon
or anything that you would want to know please drop a comment, I love engagement, I love
hearing more about what you guys want to know so that helps me figure out what I should
teach about next. Alright. Have an Awesome day.

Hope you got some value..
