Marketing Your Photography Business On Facebook

Marketing Your Photography Business On Facebook

Hi everyone. I am Jamie Delaine Watson from jamiedelainewatson.Com. Thank you so much for tuning in today. Today we're going to be talking about how
photographers can market their photography business on Facebook.

I'm sure it's a topic we've all heard so much
about. Yeah, be on Facebook, find clients on Facebook. But I'm actually gonna give you practical
tools today about how to use your Facebook page to its maximum potential so you can ... Your
clients can start finding you through this amazing social media tool.

Okay? Let's get started. Okay, first things first. You're gonna need a really engaging cover
photo. Now I always recommend that photographers
have a cover photo with their face, their logo, and their business tag line if they
have one, and their URL, because right away that's something that's gonna draw the viewer
in.

We see so many photography companies online,
on Facebook. And so by having your face, that's so unique
to you, and we know that it's your business. And so make sure you're in your cover photo. After you get an awesome cover photo, we need
a profile photo.

If you have never had professional head shots
taken as a photographer, you need them. You need to find a photographer friend, hire
a photographer to take awesome portraits of you that can help you market your business. So you have an awesome cover photo, you have
an awesome profile photo. They should be similar colors, from the same
shoot, so instantly when people come to your page it looks branded and it looks professional.

The next thing you're gonna wanna do is schedule
posts regularly. What I mean by this is I don't just want you
sharing stuff on Facebook when you had a shoot. Because I don't know about you, but my season
in Vancouver, it's quite seasonal. In the winter we get lots of rain, or we get
snow, or it's cold and people just aren't excited about photos on those dark days.

So I want my Facebook page to stay active
all the time, so how I do this is by scheduling. If scheduling freaks you out and you're not
used to scheduling social media, Facebook makes it so easy. You can schedule posts and photos right in
the platform. So you go just to add a photo or a status
like you normally would, and instead of hitting post, you click the arrow next to it and hit
schedule, and you can select when to schedule it.

I recommend posting about one photo per day. And what's interesting about Facebook is single
photos tend to perform better than posting big albums at once. So what I mean by that is if you've recently
done a shoot, don't put up a full album of it. Put up three days of just one sneak peek announcing
the blog post every time, that way you're gonna be sending traffic to your branded blog
and website, getting them off the Facebook platform and getting them to see your other
awesome work.

After you do that, after you have single photos
posted, then you can put a full album up, maybe the next week, of all the blog photos
for that specific shoot. The great thing about this is now you've hit
your audience four different times with the same shoot. Cause the reality is, not all of our fans
are seeing what we post on Facebook. I think my rate is something like 20%, 10%,
and that's actually a pretty good rate for a Facebook page.

So that's a Facebook page that people are
regularly engaging with and that I've been building for years, and so your rank might
even be lower, and that's all right. But it means that we need to consistently
be posting content so people can see it multiple times and see your awesome work. Posting it once is not enough. The other tip is to regularly post content
from your business page to your personal page.

Personal pages tend to get a lot higher ... What's
the word? Views. More people will see them, more people will
comment on them. It's just because Facebook is trying to get
ad revenue from businesses, so they tend to penalize the business pages a bit more and
give priority to the personal pages.

So as often as you can share your business
work to your personal, the better. I mean you don't want to, of course, make
your personal Facebook page only about your business, but your friends want to support
you, and so they'll want to see your work as well. Especially as a photographer, I find there's
so much overlap with clients of mine that are Facebook friends on my personal page that
still want to see that work as well. Now when you post a photo, you're gonna wanna
say something about the shoot.

You're gonna have it linked in the blog post,
and you're also gonna try to have a call to action as much as possible. So what I mean by this is it feels really
silly, but saying, "Booking portraits for next month," or, "Still booking weddings for
2018. Contact me here." Letting people know exactly where to contact
you, linking to your contact form, and providing information about your shoots. Sometimes people just need that extra push,
and actually reading a call to action is a really helpful thing.

Now one final tip. When you post albums to Facebook pages, I
just found this amazing new scheduler tool, and I'll put a link to it in the description
below. I feel like if I say the name I'll butcher
it, so just check the link in the video description. So this allows you to schedule albums, which
was a total game-changer for my business with the amount of shoots and weddings that I do.

Because as I mentioned, I don't want to shoot
a wedding, and then a few days later post the blog post, and then share a sneak peek
picture, a link to the blog post, and the album all on Facebook. Because then I'm only hitting people that
happen to be on Facebook that Tuesday afternoon, I want to schedule it out. But up until now, or still, in the Facebook
platform itself you can't schedule albums ahead of time. So you can't upload a full album within your
Facebook page and hit schedule.

It's just not possible. But there's this awesome new program that
I found, and I think it's 20 or 30 dollars a month. Anyway, I want to share it with you, so the
link is in the description below. So this has been a game-changer for me, cause
currently, as I'm talking to you, I have the next three months scheduled out of full Facebook
albums to go up every four or five days to my page, which is crazy.

So I have a lot more tips to talk to you about
Facebook pages, but if you'd like to read those, can you click the link below? It'll be jamiedelainewatson.Com/Facebook,
and that'll be an opt in that will provide you with exactly the text you should have
when you post an album, and some more tricks and tips for engaging captions and call to
actions. So I hope you enjoy that. Thank you so much for tuning in today, please
like this video. Comment and subscribe, of course, and I'll
see you next week.

Thank you..

Marketing to Doctors on Facebook

Marketing to Doctors on Facebook

- Health care
vertical for marketing. - So, I mean--
- So, who's the target? - Physicians,
doctors, facilities. - Hospitals. - What are you
trying to sell them? - Well, it's our service.

We do a lot of lot of
management for them-- - Yep. - But now are also
growing it with IT. - Okay. - All the products with
networking and all that stuff.

And so--
- Think about it backwards. Think about
everything in articles. Why physicians, why hospitals
need to start caring about privacy and then
write that article. Why independent physicians
need to understand Snapchat.

And write that article. I reverse engineer. Once you start with what you
think they should be thinking about like whatever IT
you're selling there's a why. There's a why you think
you they should have it.

- Right, right. - Don't be the doctor that
loses your patient's data. - Yeah.
- Article. Then that article or video
is deployed against physicians on LinkedIn.

Against physicians on Facebook.
Understand? - What I am afraid
of with Facebook-- - Go ahead. - Is because the physician--
- Yes. - Is not really into Facebook.
- [Gary] Who says? You? - Well, I see from my clients-- - Your focus groups of
five or 50 is too small. - Okay.

True. - You don't think Dr. John
is on fucking Facebook? - [Man] It's true. - [Woman 2] You'd be surprised
you start talking to people you'd be surprised
what they are into.

- All my physicians
are on Facebook. I have three.
They're all there. I see their fucking pictures. They're there as
John not as Dr.

John. Doesn't mean John doesn't see
the video and if John sees why physicians should start worrying
about data John might read that when he's having his
coffee on Tuesday morning. - [Woman] Mhmmm. Okay.
- [Gary] That's the problem.

People make decisions
on their focus group. Musical.Ly's going to be big. People send me an email, "Well,
my 14-year-old daughter says "it's not cool anymore." Mazel Tov but your 14-year-old
daughter is not every fucking 14-year-old in America. So the data shows that plenty
of doctors are on Facebook.

Probably most of them.
- [Woman] Okay. Well, thank you.
- You got it..

Intro Facebook Marketing For Small and Local Business - Live Marketing Challenge #5

Intro Facebook Marketing

In todays video, were going to show
you how to set up a Facebook page for your local business and a few marketing techniques
that you can use to grow your business on Facebook
Hey guys, this is Brandon from SoldWithVideo.Com and we are moving on to the very next post
of the live marketing challenge where we are taking a local based business and growing
it online, and showing you exactly how to do it. Like always, you can follow us online-
MarketingChallenge.Com. Alright, so lets just get right into it.
The reason why you want to use Facebook as a local business owner- because its a great
way to connect with your audience. It allows you to announce sales, announce your new products,
announce your new services, let everyone know when your hours are.

Its a great way for
you to form a relationship with local residents in your area. But one of the most powerful
reasons why Facebook is so important is because you can actually run ads to people in your
area, and you can even choose the demographic. So the first thing you need to do is set up
your business profile. And Ive already created a video walking you through the entire
process, and we are going to have a link to that video at the end of this video.

So be
sure to stay tuned to the end to see exactly how to do it. But there are a few things that
you need to know before you start setting up your profile. The first thing that you
should know is that the header at the top of your profile cannot contain any call to
actions, prices, or contact information. If it does, you can get in trouble with Facebook
and your profile can be deleted.

But you can add it to your profile image, which is the
thumbnail that appears next to all of your Facebook activity and at the bottom left side
of your header image. And that is the exact formula that we used
with YogaInNapa.Com. We had one header image that shows a yoga pose with a nice little
quote, and then we put the contact information and her business name in the profile image.
To see exactly how we did that, feel free to click the link below this video at any
time and see our blog post explaining the entire process.
The next thing that we need to cover is the Facebook landing page. You know how your website
has a services page, an about us page, contact page, and a bunch of other pages besides the
homepage? Yeah! Yeah, I do!
Well, your Facebook profile can do the exact same thing.

And you do that with landing pages.
When you add a landing page, youre actually adding a tab or an extra page on your Facebook
profile that people can check out. You can use these landing pages as opt-in forms, pages
that show of your services, your prices, or anything else that you want to do. But one
good technique that I like to use with Facebook landing pages is to have a page showing fan
content and non-fan content. So what happens is, when a non-fan visits that page, they
see a page that says Like our page to get a free discount and theres a Like button
that appears right above it.

They go ahead and they click that Like button, and as soon
as they do the page transforms and shows them a deal, a special, or some kind of discount
that were offering. So what happens is we get a new Facebook fan and a new client
all at the same time. And you can easily direct traffic to these pages through Facebook ads.
Or, you can just have it displayed on your Facebook profile and any time someone goes
to your profile they can click on that landing page and get that special by liking your page.
And that is exactly what we did with YogaInNapa.Com. We created a special that people can access
if they like our page.

So now if someone is already a fan and they go to that page, they
automatically see that special. But if someone goes to the page and theyre not a fan they
need to like our page. And then as soon as they do, theyll be able to access our special.
And now were moving on to how to get more Facebook Likes. And there are literally a
ton of ways to get more Facebook Likes, but Im going to cover five of the easiest ways
that I think local business owners can get more Facebook Likes.

You want more Facebook
Likes because those are fans who are basically subscribing to get all of your Facebook updates.
The more fans you have, the more people you can broadcast your messages to. Its a great
way for you to be able to stay in contact with a ton of people and form a relationship
which in return, turns into sales. And the very first method is just to add Facebook
signage to your business. This mean put a Facebook sign on your counter, your windows,
or your door.

This just lets people know that youre on Facebook. And if they really liked
you, theyre going to go home, look you up and like your page.
The next method is to run a Facebook ad. And we created a video showing you exactly how
to do this, and well have a like to that video at the end of this video. So be sure
to stay tuned to the end.

Number three is to ask your email list. If
you have an email list, just send them an email asking them to like your page. There
is absolutely nothing wrong with that. And if they liked you enough to subscribe to your
newsletter, they are most likely going to like you enough to like your Facebook page.
And method number four is to have a Like box to your website.

You have most likely seen
these on other websites. Its just a box that says Like us on Facebook and people
can actually Like you from your website. They dont even need to be on Facebook. And on
our blog post, which you can access by clicking the link below, you can actually see where
you can go to set one of those up for free.

And last but not least, have people check
in when they come into your business. And this method is not necessarily asking for
Facebook Likes, but its broadcasting your business on peoples Facebook profiles.
And this could lead to a ton of traffic to your Facebook profile, and leading to a ton
of Likes. But beyond getting more Likes, the check in technique is one of the most powerful
methods that I think small business users could be using on Facebook. Dont know what
the check in technique is? Dont worry because were going to go into it right now.
Almost everyone with a smartphone has the Facebook app installed, and when they go into
a business they can check in, which actually broadcasts on their Facebook profile that
they are at your business.

When they check in, that is basically free advertising for
your business which is awesome! Which means all of their friends are seeing that theyre
in your business. And it even provides a link to your Facebook profile.
So heres what I recommend you do. Put up a sign behind the counter that says Check
in on Facebook to get our free daily surprise. And so what happens is theyre so curious
to see what this daily surprise is that they will go ahead, check in, and show you that
they just checked in to your business.

So now what happens is your business just got
broadcasted on their Facebook. And heres something that most people dont realize
actually happened. When they check in, Facebook can tell which one of their friends are close
to your business and will actually send them a Facebook notification letting them know
that they are at your business, which encourages that person to come visit their friend in
your business or store. So not only are you getting free advertising, but you could potentially
bring in more people to your business when they check in.

And when they check in and
show you that they did, give them their daily surprise. But make sure that daily surprise
is of good value to them, because if its not they could bad talk you on Facebook. And
if you give them a great surprise, theyre going to talk greatly about you on Facebook.
And I recently experienced a business doing this, and their strategy was genius. If you
want to see what their strategy was and how you can implement it in your own business,
click the link below this video.

Thank you for watching, and I hope this video
helps shed some light on what you can be doing to use Facebook in your local or small business.
If you have any questions or you want more information on how to use Facebook in your
local or small business, click the link below and read our blog post. It goes into more
detail than whats covered in this video. And dont forget to leave a comment or hit
that thumbs up button. And I will talk to you guys soon.

to enhance your knowledge and amusement on Facebook
and E-technology. Would you please welcome onto the stage, and give a big round of applause.

(Applause) - Good morning everybody,
how are we doing? Before I do get started I want to give you a bit of a background, and set the scene. Give you a bit of context
in terms of who I am, my story, how I got here,
and I guess kinda what I do. So, I'm a massive nerd
for all things digital, and all things tech. And this nerdy passion of mine started at the ripe old age of six.

This is me and my first day at school. Looking super excited, and
this nerdy passion of mine, it started literally in the
first few weeks of school, because I began to notice that things had a certain way of catching on, right. So, I remember, it was probably about the second week of year one, back in 1996. And I remember going out to recess.

And a few kids were playing
with marbles, right. Who remembers marbles? Yeah, a few kids playing marbles,
probably about three kids. And I was like, oh these
marble things seem cool, and wasn't too interested,
but a few weeks later a few more kids were playing with marbles. And I was like, aha, these
marble things are cool.

By the end of term one, there was about 40 kids in my year
group, 40 boys in my year group that were playing with marbles. And I was like, I'm gonna
get on this marble action. Let's do it! So, you know, went home, I'm like "Mom, I want some marbles! "I want some marbles!" She's like "Paul, you can
wait until your birthday." And I'm like "All right." I was six years old. So, basically my birthday is
in the middle of the year, 25th July, and, you know,
wake up on my birthday, and I got some marbles! And I was like "These are sick!" I was so excited! And, took them, and started playing with all the kids in school.

That was fun, by the end of the year, pretty much all the boys, bar a few, were playing with marbles. Now, I found it very peculiar. And the same thing happened the next year. Except marbles weren't cool.

School holidays had happened. Marbles were out. But Pokemon cards were in, right? Everyone wanted Pokemon cards. And the same thing happened.

Small group of boys, started
playing with Pokemon cards. Few weeks later, more people
playing with Pokemon cards. By the end of the year, pretty
much the whole year group was playing at Pokemon cards. Same thing happened
again the following year.

Except Pokemon cards were out. And, Lego was in! Now, I noticed this
happened again, and again. Year in, year out. So, in year three it was Lego.

In year four, it was Dragon Ball Z. And in year five it was Digimon. And I noticed that these
fads, and these phases happened year in, and year out. And in my reflection I realised what I have always been kinda fascinated by.

Marketing, and I guess, social
psychology, if you will. And this fascination of mine, followed me all the way
through into my teenage years. And I'm like, my questionable
sense of fashion, when I was fifteen. It followed me into my
years at University, where I majored in marketing at EWA.

And this path, and this humble beginnings which all started on
the first day of school, as a six year old has kinda
brought me to stand here, and speak to you guys
today about marketing. Who of you was born in
the Sixties, or Seventies? What's your name, Sir? - [Alan] Alan. - Alan? - [Alan] Yes. - Alan did you, or your
family when you were a kid, did you have a local
butcher that you went to? You had, yep? And Christmas time's coming up.

Back in the day, what was
your family's favourite type of meat to eat, when you were a kid? Lamb? Cool, so you've got a local
butcher that you'd go to. And I'm assuming you're
a kid in this story, so, your Dad would take you down there. And your Dad knows the butcher by name. It's like this, let's call
him Nick, Nick's the butcher.

"Hey Nick, how're you going?" Nick says hello to your Dad. "Hey Alan." Gives you a little pat
on the head, says hello. And it's like cool, you know Christmas is coming up around the corner. Got your favourite slice, or
your favourite lamb roast.

Ready to go, seasoned the way you want it. Rah, rah, rah. Like sick! Thank you to Nick the butcher. You go home, cook it up for Christmas.

It's absolutely delicious,
it's exactly what you wanted. You're sitting around the Christmas table, and basically you tell a great story about where you got the lamb from. And how great your butcher is. And that is old school word of mouth.

And we can do that in 2017,
through word of mouse. And the thing is, the thing that makes that experience so great,
and the thing that makes it so powerful, is that it's just
someone being human, right? Someone building a real
relationship with their customer, actually caring about what
their customer thinks. Actually caring about their experience. And we often forget, especially,
with digital marketing, and social media
marketing, that even though there's a screen, or there's
a smartphone in front of us, we can still create
those real relationships with our customers and with our audience.

One of the biggest questions
I get asked by clients. Is what kind of content
can I create on social? What kind of content is
working around my location, for my business, in the
hospitality tourism industry? And one of the best
resounding, best pieces of content you can be creating for your business on social
right now, is location porn. What is location porn? Got a little bit of an example here. This was taken down in
Canal Rocks, down South.

All we did was, we captioned the comment, "Nothing better than having "a natural waterpark all to yourself!" And then we tagged
where it was, 10 minutes from where the client's business is, and we tagged the person
who took the photo. We didn't create the content,
we just DJ'd it, right? And why does it work so well? Well, it works so well, because you need to think about what you're
actually selling, right. So, you're selling somewhere to stay overnight when you go somewhere. But you're really selling,
in a lot of cases, the experience of being in that location.

Away from home. Another thing that is working great, is incentive retargeting. And this is amazing! So, who runs bookings to
their website at the moment? Who has a website that runs bookings? Yeah. Who does retargeting at the moment? Who doesn't know what retargeting is? (Audience murmurs) Okay, do you ever go onto
Facebook after you've been on a website, and then let's say, I'm gonna use you again Alan.

Let's say Alan's being
looking at some flip-flops, some thongs, and he
goes back onto Facebook. Or goes back onto like, news.Com.Au, and he's been looking at these thongs, then, bang, he sees an
ad for those exact thongs on that website, that's
retargeting, right. So, basically what we
do is we pixel people, we follow you around, we cookie you, and then we go and serve ads based on what you've been looking at. Bit creepy, if you don't
know what's going on.

From a return on investment,
digital marketing point of view, it's absolutely insane! Now, this is an example of
an incentivized retargeting that we run for one of my clients. This is a carousel ad that shows up to people who have visited our website, our client's website
that haven't purchased. And it runs for seven days, and then if they do purchase it stops running. So we don't waste ad
budget, if it has converted.

And it's just a simple, simple ad, that's promoting every third night free. And this incentivized retargeting
is really great as well, because we're doing a value-add, we're not doing a discount, right. So note, to the market we're
not inherently lowering the value, or the room, the rate, the rack-rate of the
room to our customers. We're adding on an extra night free.

So, it's a difference in psychology. So, we're not lowering the value, we're actually adding value, right. And this works, absolutely amazing. Because to the market they're saving, $299 for an awesome room, right.

And they're gonna get a third night free. And it's one of our highest converting ads that we've ever run. And we've been running
this ad for four years now. The great thing about running this ad, and running incentivized
retargeting ads like this, is, when you set it up in the right way, you're pixeling new
people every single time.

So, you don't get, you don't get ad burn. You don't annoy people. And because they're only
running for seven days after they visit the website,
and they stop running once they've converted,
you're saving money. It's an effective
allocation of your budget.

And you're not BLANKING anybody off. All right, who uses OTAs? Who uses OTAs? Right, who doesn't like OTAs? Whose, like who (inaudible) hates, sending, no (inaudible) seriously, nothing BLANK me off more than giving 10-20% commission to an OTA. I mean it's great if
you need more business. But that 10-20% commission,
if you were doing a $2000, like five day $2000 piece of
business for like one customer, that's like almost $400, if you're paying a 20% commission to Wotif, or TripAdvisor.

Like, that's not fun,
that's not fun at all. Especially if they are running Google ads against your business's name
on mobile, and on desktop. Like, you're paying $400
for them to steal your, I mean they're giving you business, but you're paying $400 for
it, and the amount of money, they're probably paying for that click, like collectively, let's
say they get 10 clicks, average a dollar a click, that's 10 bucks. So, they're making a $390
net profit off your rooms.

When you could be playing
in that same arena as well. And this is one of my
favourite strategies, specifically for booking hotels online. And it's something you
guys need to be doing. I've been doing it for all my clients in the hospitality tourism industry for the last five, six years.

The return on investment averages 10X. It's a (inaudible) day, or
it's a (inaudible) month if we don't get 10X return. And the reason it is so
cost-effective is on Google, there's this thing called
quality score, right. You've got your TripAdvisors,
you've got your Wotifs, you've got all your
OTAs, and they're bidding on your business's
keyword on Google, right.

So, they're bidding on it,
and they're raising the price of you to pay, or raising
the cost of that AdWords for you to pay on your
business brand name keyword. However, Google, they, like
levels the playing field with its quality score metric. And what that does, is it
allows you to get way cheaper cost per clicks, than what the OTAs get. And also, place the very, very, very top above Trivago, on Google,
because it's your business.

And it you're doing bookings
through your website, then you can get wicked
returns on investment that outstrip the 15,
10, 15, 20% commission that you're paying the OTAs. For example you spend $360
on your Google AdWords media budget every month,
and you make 6,000, 7000, $8000 worth of revenue. And all that's tracked,
because you put the pixels, like what we were talking about before. Put the pixels on your website.

Whose using the booking button, anyone using the booking
button to do their bookings? Or, yep! So, use the booking button. Super simple, you put the Google, I think you're running
Google AdWords as well, is that, yep, cool, that's my boy! Right, so basically, you
put the Google AdWords conversion tracking code at
the very end of the checkout. In the backend of the booking button. And Google knows, dollars, and cents.

You spent $10.67 Advertising this, and you made a return of $460
worth of rooms for that spend. And once you've done that
you can measure against to see, is it worth you competing in the arena with the OTAs? I'm not saying replace
what the OTAs are doing, because that would give you a significant amount of business. You may as well take back
some of the pie for yourself, and get a better return. Thank you.

(Applause) I'm chilling out there with morning teas, so if any of you guys have any questions, or want me to explain some of those strategies in more detail. Please come up, have a chat,
and we'll go from there. Thank you very much! (Applause) (applause drowns out speaker) - That's it! - Them doing all the blogs,
we give them products that, they're doing their own little thing. - Mate, that's it, that will
create the content for you.

They get free (inaudible), like. - That's it, and they post everywhere, and they've got like two
hundred, five hundred thousand, twenty thousand followers. - That's awesome right,
and even if you get, the thing is, if you can
give away free (inaudible), that's not really costing
you too much, right. And you find like, a few people that are really passionate about
what your business is doing.

Give them a bit of free (inaudible), they'll give you free exposure. And you don't even have
to ask them to do it. Because if you send them something, "Hey, what's up, notice you follow us, "like, here's some
stuff, really appreciate "you stay in the loop, listen, "if there's anything we can do to help?" Soon as that rocks up, same
with the UberKITTENS thing they're gonna take the photo be like, they're gonna tag you in the post, and then they're telling
their friends about you. It's what you want.

- It was really good to hear you speak. - Scott, right? - All right, yep. - Appreciate it, take care, let me know if there is anything
else I can do for you? Peace Scott! Woo! Anyways thank you very much for watching, that's it, have the best
time at the conference. Thank you very much to
the CIAW for having me.

How to Use Facebook for Recruiting in Network Marketing - Social Media Strategies

How to Use Facebook for Recruiting in Network Marketing - Social Media Strategies

Hey my name is Drew Berman from DrewBerman.Com,
and I help network marketers go from hobby income to professional income. You want to
know how to recruit more, and more efficiently, on Facebook for your marketing business? Come
right back and I'm going to give you a couple strategies that will help you. Hi my name is Drew Berman, welcome back, I
am the author of You Online, You Offline: How to Make a Fortune in Network Marketing.
I teach people online, and offline, strategies. Today we're going to talk about Facebook,
the Facebook, that's what it was originally called.

Here's a couple tips that will help
you with your network marketing company, and with your MLM, and your home based business.
How to recruit more reps on Facebook. One, change your profile picture to something
professional. If you can't get a professional headshot, at least take a still photo, with
your iPhone or something. It's just you, no drinks, no people, no babies, certainly no
company logo, and just make your Facebook profile professional.

The profile is the one
with the picture. Then there's the big picture, I think that's your homepage. Make sure that's
something that's an alignment with the message and your brand. Maybe it's a landscape, maybe
it's a famous quote, maybe it's a lifestyle picture.

Once you have your picture set up,
your profile and your landscape, I'm going to recommend changing it every once in a while.
When you change it, what happens is it shows up on your wall, and in other people's newsfeed.
If you change it properly, so you upgrade it. Let's say you upgrade it every 3 to 6
months, oftentimes what is going to happen is people are going to like your picture. That's going to create activity, that's going
to create movement, and if you do it properly, if you upgrade to a better picture or ... For
me, I like landscapes, so I would go from a ...

Like I was in a contest to win that
trip to the French Riviera, so I had the French Riviera on there. Then I change it to a beach
profile. When you change it to something cool, people are going to react, and that will stir
the pot a little bit. Second strategy, when you get likes and comments.
Now, how often do you get likes and comments? If you're not getting them often enough try
Google.

Google best Facebook quotes for 2000 ... " Whatever year, or the year before, or
the year before. Funniest Facebook quotes for 2011, 2009, 2013, and you're going to
get a ton of stuff, okay? That's how you'll get more interaction. Post stuff not about
your business.

If you have to post about your business follow this formula, 10/4/1. That
means for every 10 posts, something inspirational, motivational, funny, uplifting, people don't
come to Facebook to buy. They come to connect, they come to see what their friends are doing.
Ten should be nothing about business at all. Four could be subtle about business, maybe
lifestyle, or the benefits of your business.

Maybe 1 can be a call to action to your business.
That's strategy number 2. Strategy number 3, when you get likes and
comments. This is like leads falling into your lap. Figure out a way to get more likes
and comments.

Facebook loves baby pictures, loves pets, specifically cats and horses,
not sure why, and uplifting, and humor. As you start to get likes and comments here's
your door to open up relationships. Prospecting and recruiting is no different on Facebook
than it is one to one. We're not about sell, sell, sell, we're not about buy my product
because you need it.

You wouldn't do that at a party, don't do it on Facebook. What
you can do is you can send everyone a PM, private message, that says, "Thanks for liking
my post." You can use this exact sentence, "Thanks for liking my post. What are you up
to? Thanks for commenting on my picture, what's new and good with you?" This is going to open
up dialogue and discussion. There are some concepts on how to recruit
more on Facebook.

One, have a professional picture, and professional landscape. Two,
change it, upgrade it every 3 to 6 months. Three, follow the 10/4/1 formula around business.
Ten inspirational, motivational, happy, fun, tips, content, teach. Four, subtle references
to the benefits of your product or service.

Not the features, the benefits, because everyone
listens to the same radio station. It's WIIFM, what's in it for me? When you start the 4
posts, it should be like, "My product does this, my product does this, you should buy
it." It should be like, "Check out this success story because they were using this type of
system." No mention of name, no mention of product. Oftentimes you can do maybe a before
and after picture, or you can do a success story, or you can reference the type of product,
or service, that created a benefit. Once, mention a call to action.

Those are a couple Facebook tips to help you
recruit more reps on Facebook. Now, when someone likes or comments on one of your posts it's
kind of like giving a virtual high five. A. Way to give a virtual high five back, like
some of their posts.

Comment on their posts, and then create a dialogue. Then through questions
you're going to learn how to recruit more. What's new? What are you up to? What do you
do professionally? What do you like about it? What don't you like about it? What would
you change? Just a shot in the dark are you open to other opportunities? See there's a
little 8 question segway into going from contact and contact and relationship, to opening the
door. You follow these subtle tips you will recruit more reps on Facebook.

I'm going to give you 1 last strategy. This
one is a dozy. It's called the birthday strategy. It happens every single day of the year.

Everyday
of the year you get a note, from Facebook, on whose birthday it is. Everyone on the planet
leaves them a birthday message on their wall. That's one level. The next level is, send
them a PM.

The next level is send them an email. The advanced level, text them or call
them on their birthday. On your birthday you're going to get a ton of messages on your wall,
so you just like and comment, and say, "Thanks for the birthday wishes, what are you up to?"
Start the dialogue. We can go into a whole Facebook training.

YouTube channel, because we often times give trainings like this, where we'll have interviews
with experts, and networking marketing tips, because we help you go from hobby income to
professional income. That's all for now, we'll see you next time at DrewBerman.Com. Make

Bye for now..

How to Integrate Facebook Lead Ads with Marketing Automation

How to Integrate Facebook Lead Ads with Marketing Automation

Image source: https://c1.sfdcstatic.com/content/dam/blogs/us/thumbnails/advertising-studio-from-salesforce-now-with-direct-lead-automation-from-facebook-to-sales-cloud/facebookcrmads.png

Hello everyone, welcome to another episode of Nick's Ad Chat. We are talking all things PPC. Last episode, I was showing you guys a little bit about how Facebook lead ads worked and how to set up your very first lead ad campaign. So today, I'm going to show you what you can actually do when you start actually getting those leads in and how to integrate it with HubSpot.

So let's hop onto business manager and take a look at how everything works. So self-explanatory, once they fill out that lead or once they fill out your lead ad form, where does their information go? First off, everything is stored on Facebook, so once you go to your campaign that you just created, this is the one that we made. And once people do start filling out your form, an option is going to appear here. I'll show you one of the other ones that we've done.

An option is going to appear right there. Once you go into the individual ads where you can download your leads. So you click that, select the date range and you can download them. It just pulls a nice quick CSV file right onto your computer.

Now like I mentioned, this is a very manual process if you want things to be automated you have to set up something external to make sure that once that lead ad form is filled out. They are sent that automated email. Obviously, it's not ideal if you're pulling this information every time someone fills out your form. So to do that, I've chosen to set up an integration between HubSpot, which is where we do most of our automation.

If you're using HubSpot, this will be very useful. If not, I think it'll still be very useful to show you the process that you can go through to set it up, so the first thing you have to do if you're using HubSpot is go into your portal and create a list, a static list. I've already created it here. Don't give it any criteria.

Make sure it's not a smart list. It's just a empty list and you can call it whatever you want. I'm calling it a test lead ad list and just let it sit there. And then you're gonna go into zapier.

Zapier is just one option of integration software, I think it's very useful is I think they have over 200 connected programs that you can use. If you want to set it up the way that I'm setting it up now, you are gonna have to pay for it. We managed to get in our RCM managed to get in before they started charging for their plans since we're going to be setting up two-step integration. You do have to pay for it if you're just setting up the one, then you only need the free version.

But I'm going to show you how I set it up and you can do whatever you like with it. So the first thing we're going to do is we're gonna hit make this up. So first thing we're gonna select is Facebook lead ads. Click that.

This is our trigger so once somebody fills out that lead ad form, save and continue. I've already connected my Facebook account if you want to connect another one, all you have to do is click that link there, and it'll open up a little box where you can sign it and connect your Facebook account. So save and continue. Move on.

This is where you select your page, so we're going to select Campaign Creators Facebook page and then also the form. So you scroll down, you find the form that you're working with, we're selecting that form that we just created the test lead ad form. Select that. Move on, and now what it's going to do is just to make sure it's really really useful, just to make sure that everything is working fine, what zapier does it creates a test contact.

Contact and puts it through your process to make sure it's going through the Zap properly, so we're gonna do that, it creates just a test contact or test lead and it tests it going through the steps, okay? Continue, then we set up our actions so once that trigger happens, what's the next step that you want Zapier to do, so we select HubSpot obviously and a lot of people do this, they go straight to add a contact to List. I was doing this at first and I was seeing that it just wasn't working out, and I couldn't understand why so I got in contact with Zapier, and they explained to me that it can't add the contact to the list unless that contact is already created, so this is where you need those two steps. So first you're gonna have to create the contact, select that one you select your HubSpot account so if you want to connect to the account open that up, fill in your Hub ID which can be found at the top, Hub ID you can find it right up here in the top right corner. Fill that out, and then you're connected to your HubSpot account, so we're gonna select Campaign Creators it's already been connected.

Connect that, this is where you can fill out all of the different fields. Before your new contact that you're creating since our form is only asking for an email, That's the only one that we need to update. So click this here select the email, for your new lead, and you don't have to worry about any of this other stuff. You have tons of fields in there.

You don't have to worry about any of that. Move on to the next and once again is gonna try to test. So test is successful now, If that's all you want to do if you just want to create a contact in facebook or in HubSpot, Then you're good to go. This app is ready to start rolling.

However in our case we want to set up that automated workflow to trigger once that That specific type of contact is imported, so we're gonna add another step. So we're gonna click this. Plus icon here, select a Hubspot and here we're going to select add contact to list. So once again selecting our HubSpot account, going through this is where we find our list name that one that we just created Test lead ad list, that static list with nobody in it.

And then we're going to once again select that test lead that we started out with at the beginning. So continue, once again, it's going to test make sure everything's working test successful looks good and We're done. Give it a name test lead ad zap. Boom! Good to go turn it on and now once you start running your ads, then people start filling out your form, they're gonna be immediately entered into HubSpot they're gonna create a contact and HubSpot And they're going to be added to that list So one way to check that the whole if you still don't trust Zapier one way to test and see if that whole process worked.

Open up HubSpot, Go into your lists, go into that list you just created and you're gonna see that test contact there. So Hope that gave you guys a little bit of an explanation about how you can leverage lead ads to improve your lead generation techniques. Obviously, it's not a one size fits all but you're going to have some industries where sending people to a landing page is going to perform better, but like I said, the last couple of campaigns that we've run the lead ads, the cost per acquisition for a lead has been a lot lower so Get out there and test it let me know how you get on Obviously something you can try out if your regular campaign is working, too well, and you want to you know test something new And see if you can lower that cost per lead but Anyways, thank you for tuning in to another episode of Nicks ad chat, and I will see you guys next time.  .

How to Increase Your Facebook Reach and Outsmart the Algorithm

How to Increase Your Facebook Reach and Outsmart the Algorithm

Organic reach for Facebook Business Pages is plummeting. In fact, some people say by more than 50%. So, how do you make sure that the content you share on Facebook is actually seen? There are thousands of factors that determine how the News Feed ranks content, but overall, Facebooks goal has always been the same: Connect people to the stories they want to be connected to. That means prioritizing posts from family,
friends, and news organizations over content from brands.

To claim your spot on the News Feed among the 60 million other businesses marketing on Facebook, you have to understand two things: one, how the News Feed ranks content, and two, where Facebook is heading as a business, not simply a social network. When Facebook ranks content, really, its looking at four things: who posted it, how people engaged with it, what kind of post
it is, and when it was posted. The more engagement a post gets, the more it -- and your future posts -- are seen in the News Feed. Remember, less is more.

For brands, reach actually drops with each additional post, especially if you post more than three times a day. Be selective about what you post and how often. Youve also got to avoid clickbait. Facebook tracks the amount of time people spend reading an article and watching a video and decreases its visibility if people immediately bounce from it or scroll past.

Facebook is looking more and more like a video platform every day and the algorithm reflects that. The News Feed prioritizes Facebook Lives in real time, and now notes how long people watch pre-produced videos, giving long videos with high completion rates an extra boost. But more than anything else, youve got to know your audience. The News Feed is smart enough to know the type of posts people want to see.

To increase those engagement rates, try using Preferred Audience Tracking to optimize who sees your content. Jump up to Settings and make sure Audience Optimization for Posts is turned on. The next time you post, just click on the
tiny target and choose interests relevant to your content. If your organic reach is dropping, dont be surprised.

Instead, know your audience and post quality content they want to engage with. Definitely consider promoting posts with ad spend, but know there are ways to make the algorithm work for you and your business..
